Michael Bay has revealed a brand new TV spot for Transformers: The Last Knight, and as you can see below, it reveals that the Autobots and Decepticons have always been among us here on Earth. Ranging from the days of King Arthur to Nazi Germany, the footage spotlights a number of conflicts they've become involved in and most importantly a new threat which is on its way in this fifth film.

Set to be released on June 23rd this year, Transformers: The Last Knight will feature the return of Mark Wahlberg as Cade Yeager as well as new roles for Isabela Moner and Jerrod Carmichael. With Bay back in the director’s chair, the screenplay for the movie was written by Iron Man's Art Marcum and Matt Holloway along with Ken Nolan (Black Hawk Down). Plot details are currently being kept under wraps, but it wouldn't be all that surprising if the studio is planning spinoffs set in any one of these events.

What do you think of this latest look at Transformers: The Last Knight? Sound off down below.

Transformers being part of Japanese Samurai history, German WW2 and fighting alongside King Arthur?!

Bay is probably way out of his mind at this point and since he knows where this franchise has gone to, he doesn't even care anymore.

LMAO

The secret history of the Transformers is that they were Samurai, Nazis and Abraham Lincoln?

If they're gonna keep digging deeper and deeper into the past, can we at least get this movie?

@blitzkreg - We will get new blood in the next film after this, as the next film will be directed by Travis Knight (whose last film has 90% in rt) but it wont be a reboot
