I guess there's no stopping these Giant "Killer" Robots, as they kill home video records...

By ACCESS - Oct 24, 2009 04:10 PM EST

MichaelBay.com reports that ROTF has sold 4 million copies in its first couple of days of release. The post was made by MichaelBay.com's Webmaster Nelson.

---
4 million is an amazing number. It's just scary, because first it was Wolverine who was shattering records then now its this one, and both are really lacking good stories. So, the question is are we only watching this because of the pretty pictures?

I know a lot of people didn't like ROTF because it lacked in plot, but gimmie a break... The most amazing visual effects, great action, and some decent slap-stick comedy. The fact that it sold 4 million copies just goes to show that for the most part, people were entertained. And everyone who comes on here and complains needs to chill. It's usually the same people complaining, and they seem to complain about everything.

IF YOU LOOK AT IT AS A LONGTIME FAN SINCE G1..YOU'LL HATE IT...BUT IF YOU LOOK AT IT AS A SUMMER FUN ACTION MOVIE YOU'LL LOVE IT..THE NUMBERS SPEAK FOR IT..I BOUGHT ONE AND I SAID THINGS I DID OR DIDNT LIKE..BUT I STILL BOUGHT IT BECAUSE ALL IN ALL, VISUALLY AND CGI...ITS PRETTY SOLID.

I love the people that complain about people complaining! Priceless.

Your right Gun, it was a roller coaster of fun and popcorn and entertainment, all wrapped up in devastator balls tied to a c#nt roomate's hairy man-ass retarded mother stupid load of old bollocks!

But the big robots were cool..cool enough to ever watch the movie again? Naaaaa

Transformers 2 was awsome :P
Wolverine was garbage =D

Either way I don't think any one on this site could have directed/written/edited this movie (ROTF) and made it any better. If so, you need to move to hollywood and make it happen. I'm sure atleast some of us would have your back.

thatiscrazy, I'm fairly confident that a handicapped Lemur, with no arms and a broom handle shoved up his ass, dipped in ink with springs on his feet, let loose at a typewriter could write, direct and edit a better movie. Anyway, the "bet you couldn't do any better" argument is ridiculous. Even if we couldn't, the pont is SOMEONE could. Are we supposed to automatically like every movie Hollywood shoves our way based on the fact that we can't do better? You just called Wolverine garbage..could you do better? Cos if you can, go to Hollywood and do it! And if you cant, shut the [frick] up and stop being a hypocrite.

Sorry, bad day!..but yeah, [frick] off with that silly "do better" shit though, it makes my blood boil

I just watch it for the explosions. I ran out of black powder and my neighbors called the cops last time. But really I am out of black powder...

And it was not worse than a smack in the nuts with a wet salmon.

@ Rorschach01
Okay so you got me on the hypocrite part ;) ... but yes I think it could have been done better, for lots of reasons and so could just about every movie ever made. There so many factors to making a “great” movie that I feel Hollywood (more often than not) accidently gets it right, when a movie turns out “great”.

It just seems to me that to expect every movie to be perfect or close to perfect is like expecting every chick you meet to be HOT, and into Comics or Sports.

I guess it just depends on how an individual judges a movie… so with that said TRANSFOMERS2 WAS AWSOME and WOLVERINE SUCKED!!! =P
