We got to see a lot of the Saint of Killers tonight, and next week's installment of AMC's Preacher will be Her Starr-centric. After the jump you'll find the promo and a couple of very funny sneak peeks...
Jesse may have gotten the better of The Saint of Killers tonight (for the time being, anyway), but on next week's episode of Preacher, a far more insidious threat will be introduced in the form of Herr Starr.
In the extended clip below, we flashback to Starr's initiation into The GRAIL, and there are several blackly funny moments as the cunning SOB finds increasingly twisted ways to pass each test.
It remains to be seen if Starr ultimately winds up playing the same role he does in the comics, but they seemed to have nailed the essence of character at the very least.
