PREACHER: First Look At Joseph Gilgun As 'Cassidy'
After several months of shooting, we finally have our first look at This Is England actor Joe Gilgun as Cassidy the Irish vampire thanks to some new BTS images. There's also a much clearer pic of Ian Colletti as Arseface, looking much less gruesome than he does in the comics!
A visitor to the set of AMC's Preacher adaptation has posted a few cheeky snaps to his Facebook page. As you can see we get nice, clear looks at both Joseph Gilgun as Proinsias Cassidy sans his trademark sunglasses, and Ian Colleti as Arseface sans... the horrific, drooling mess for a mush he has in the comics. To be fair, Seth Rogen and co. were probably always going to tone that down a bit for this TV series. Aside from these a few other behind-the-scenes images we've yet to see anything official from Preacher, but it shouldn't be long now.
Preacher stars Dominic Cooper as Jesse Custer, Ruth Negga as Tulip O'Hare, Joe Gilgun as Cassidy, Ian Colletti as Arseface, Lucy Griffiths as Emily Woodrow, Elizabeth Perkins as Vyla Quinncannon and Jamie Anne Allman and Derek Wilson as Betsy and Donny Schenck.We still don't know who'll play the Saint Of Killers, but he's definitely in the show....right?
