According to Deadline, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg will produce a new single-camera superhero comedy series for Fox. We don't have a title, but the story focuses on "an ambitious MIT graduate who gets a job working for a Steve Jobs-esque tech genius, only to learn he’s also a vigilante superhero by night forcing her to become the unwitting Alfred to his Batman."  The show will be written by Mike Rosolio (Lemmings, The Cold War), who will also executive produce. 

Rogen and Goldberg also have a new ABC series in the works, about a the elusive Illuminati society that has been the subject of numerous conspiracy theories. That'll be written by Brad Copeland (Life In Pieces).

More details as we get 'em, but that sidekick show does sound like it could be fun. Let us know what you think in the usual place.

I...won't be watching this. I don't know if over-saturation of the market is a thing yet, but even just personally i can't keep up with all of the CB content these days. I mean it's great, don't get me wrong, that there are so many shows for people to enjoy, but there are only so many shows i can watch before even a fanboy like myself starts to get superhero fatigue. And i never want to get to that point.

Yo please read this Dr. Strange review and tell me it doesn't make you angry. I loved the movie, but besides that point, this reviewer literally just talked about the Ancient One being white the whole time and how insane Donald Trump and this election are. WHO CARES?? REVIEW THE MOVIE FOR THE MOVIE, NOT FOR THE MOVIE YOU SEE DURING ELECTION WEEK BUT CAN'T ENJOY BECAUSE TRUMP/RACISM/RHETORIC/POLITICS BLAH!

would have been nice if the show was part of the x-men universe, so we could have a new lead mutant on tv and a few x-men cameos from time to time.

I think they'll be able to pull it off BUT I'm not a fan of CB adaptations on those networks. They need to look to other networks like premium cable. Hell, even FX has stepped up their programming and added tons of content.

@JP8 - My hate for Rgen with the combination of comic book characters have nothing to do with preacher. Although I think preacher was a bit boring and hard to get through, but what he did to Green Hornet was utterly disgusting.
