This may also be a means to for the writers to "dump off" secondary (third tier?)characters as an alternative to outright killing them off right away. I can really see Morgan(Lenny James) carrying a show by leading a small group in some distinct fashion. Of course this is also predicated on if they're going to keep things within a fairly linear timeline of events and geography for the most part. They might not feel like getting rid of some of the main storyline actors entirely yet. That being said, how cool would it be to see live action versions of Clementine, Lee and the crew from the game cross paths somewhere in the spinoff show's story? That had one of the best storylines (live action or otherwise)thus far.

@BrockSamson33 I watch a lot of shows but current favourites have to be House of Cards, True Detective, GOT, Veep and Fargo. But I also really dig the superhero stuff like Arrow and Flash.

Should have done a spin off based on the perspective of the military, or what's left of it.

His role with those amigos in Training Day showcased the true beauty in "tension" when it comes to serious scenes in films.

I like to see this show being in the north. I think having it take place somewhere in Canada or Alaska would be interesting. The reason why is, because having to deal with the snow would add another layer to trying to survive. It would make for an interesting premise to see the zombies destroy the humans safe house and then trying to get away from them in a whiteout.
