Quit guessing guys its Darryl you can assume that based on how weird he was acting on Talking Dead after the finale. Dude was practically in tears cuz he knows how crazy and emotional things are going too get. I think Darryl get the bat and Glenn tried too intervien and gets roughed up a bit.

Obviously Rick and Carl are safe.

They've done too much set up for Maggie to become leader of the HillTop to kill her now.

Daryl is the face of the TWD brand and of most of their videogames. He's the reason why half the fanbase watch the show. He is too vital to the show to kill off.

Glenn dying is way too obvious. If you look closely at the POV shot of the victim, on the right hand side of the bat you can see the same Savior who stood behind Glenn throughout the whole thing. So it can't be him.

There is no reason whatsoever for it to be Rosita. It wouldn't have a big impact on the story and her character has only really started to develop this season. So it can't be her.

That leaves us with Michonne, Abraham, Sasha, Aaron and Eugene. I'm conflicted on which ones I favour.

On one side, if all the POV shots throughout the episode are from the same person - it has to be one of the four from inside the crate/truck. Ergo by my elimination, it must be Michonne.

On the other hand, when you rewatch the ending, Negan moves to the left of Rick as you can see by the shadow on Rick's face. So it must be someone on his left - Sasha, Aaron or Eugene. Finally when Negan begins his 'You can blink....' speech, for each of his three statements, he looks to his left, his right and downwards left. That means he is talking to members of the group on his left, right and someone close to the victim. As Eugene was on the end, it can't be him. When he says 'Anyone moves cut the boy's eye out...' he motions his shoulder to the right, implying Carl is on Negan's right. Yet Rick is on Negan's left. This means it is someone inbetween Rick and Carl - Sasha or Aaron.

So by this analysis, I'm going with either Michonne or Aaron. Michonne if all the POV shots are the same, Aaron by the camera angles. Though given all the editting the producers did in this episode, I'm leaning towards the former. The writers seem to be setting up Carol to take Michonne's role as future leader of the Kingdom, so Michonne is expendable.

Personally I really hope it is Michonne and makes the most sense. They can't kill a main character like Daryl or Glenn from a cliffhanger. Michonne however isn't as main of a character as those from season one yet is so beloved and a big character on the show that her death truly will have a major death.

I see a lot of people rule out all the women because Negan apparently doesn't kill women. This is false. 1.) Negan does kill women - he killed Holly in the comics. and 2.) In the show, he doesn't give his analysis of each potential victim by saying things like 'racecard' 'woman' 'mother and child' etc. So no one is safe.

Michonne's death would also give Carl all the reason to go after Negan on his own. It would rock the group's dynamic and take away a right-hand from Rick, so to speak.

So I say, and hope Michonne. But knowing the writers they'll cop out and kill either Aaron or Abraham.
