The website, eonline.com, spoke with Steven Yeun about season five of The Walking Dead. At the end of last season, Glenn and most of his pals were captured by the cannibals of Terminus. And it sounds like season five's violence is gonna push the boundaries of what can and cannot be shown on television.

"I remember a couple of scenes I would look over at what was going on in the scene and I would be like, ‘What the eff? What are we doing? How is this legal? It's grounded and real, too; it's not like torture or gore for no reason," he said. "It's literally, that is what would happen and we are trying to show it. It would not work on network television, let me tell you that."

During the discussion they approached him about rumors regarding Glenn's demise. "Ugh, I mean," he paused. "Sometimes it's rough, I mean sometimes its awesome. We will see what happens, yeah."

Based on one of the most successful and popular comic books of all time, written by Robert Kirkman, AMC’s The Walking Dead captures the ongoing human drama following a zombie apocalypse. The series follows a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes, played by Andrew Lincoln (Love Actually, Teachers, Strike Back), who are traveling in search of a safe and secure home. However, instead of the zombies, it is the living who remain that truly become the walking dead. Jon Bernthal (The Pacific, The Ghost Writer) plays Shane Walsh, Rick's sheriff's department partner before the apocalypse, and Sarah Wayne Callies (Prison Break), is Rick's wife, Lori Grimes. Additional cast include: Laurie Holden, Steven Yeun, Norman Reedus, Jeffrey DeMunn, Chandler Riggs, Iron E. Singleton and Melissa McBride. Guest stars include: Lauren Cohan, Scott Wilson and Pruitt Taylor Vince.

The Walking Dead stars: Andrew Lincoln, Jon Bernthal, Laurie Holden, Jeffrey DeMunn, Scott Wilson, Emily Kinney, Sarah Wayne Callies, Steven Yeun, Chandler Riggs, Norman Reedus, Iron E. Singleton, Madison Lintz, Danai Gurira, Melissa Suzanne McBride, Michael Rooker, Lauren Cohan, Vincent M. Ward, Chad L. Coleman, Brighton Sharbino, Kyla Kenedy and David Morrissey.

Yes, because it's impossible to dislike the Walking Dead without there being some evil pseudo-hipster motive. Brilliant, we need to get this user a Nobel Prize or something for such brilliance.

Yeah, stop being cynical guys! Absolutely no criticism of popular things are allowed anymore, got it?? We all HAVE to love everything and no one can dare to say anything differently, because that OBVIOUSLY means they either aren't getting laid, or they're being a hipster.

...Ugh. I pretty much hate-watch this show at this point, making fun of the stupidest character decisions and utterly predictable plot threads with my friends. I'm pretty sure the only reason we're still watching is to see each character get killed off one by one. Plus, the zombie effects on this show are second to none, so I guess that's pretty much its only redeeming quality.

Its funny thinking about all the hate Carol used to get early on in the show (still kinda does) and yet she turned out to be one of the best developed characters in the entire series

@damntree, I've watched it since the beginning, I'm invested in the story, I like SOME of the characters, but I absolutely hate the writing of the show, the revolving door of showrunners every season, and the lack of an overarching plot and vision for the show, which makes most of the episodes feel like wheel-spinning.

And yes, having a group of buddies around that feel the same way and watch for the same reasons I do makes it that much more fun. Have you never hate-watched a show before? You're missing out!

Honestly....

Its all good to hate the shit out of this show.....

....but it's kind of hard to deny how much hard work is put into it and how high quality of a show it it.

Plus its broken a couple records...not hard to respect for an Original Comic Book Fan like myself.
