The Walking Dead 208 "Nebraska" Sneak Peek Teases Fallout Of Shocking Mid-Season Finale

Sunday's episode of The Walking Dead saw the situation on Hershel's farm reach a grizzly boiling point that ended with the revelation that Sophia had been in the barn full of walkers the entire time. It fell to Rick to put the girl down and while fans have been left with many questions about the twist, (Why didn't anyone living on the farm mention finding a little girl? Why didn't Glen or Patricia spot here when they were in the barn recently?) well, the following preview clip seemingly answers at least one of those while also teasing where things will go from the conclusion of the mid-season finale.

The Walking Dead returns to AMC on February 12, 2012.

Agreed. I think it's clear that Shane is losing it in his ability to deal with the new world but he's right in his mindset about much of it. It's just his approach that will end up being his downfall. Good character, brings a lot of tension and some great points to the story.

@Dawnelldo,

Your mama jokes are stupid and uncalled for. I personally am insulted by jokes about moms because I had to leave my mother at a very young age so that I can work to make a better life for both of us. Years later when I'm fairly successful, I went to visit her only to have her die in my arms after being beaten and most likely raped. In a fit a rage I killed her attackers.

Then I eventually killed all the Jedi in the galaxy and enslaved the universe under my Galactic Empire.

no one will miss Shane once Michonne shows up.
also if The WD creator lets the tv execs continue to buttrape
his story I bet they'll try and make our missing friend with a missing hand
the governor. just you watch. they're all about justifying, prob why they are
taking so long to off Shane. the killing off of Sophia wins the 'Golden Boner Award'
and also foreshadows future bastardizations.

If anyone watched "the talking dead" after the show.Robert Kirkman explained why the group wasn't told that a little girl was found. Hershel said to Rick when the were going to the swamp to get the stuck walkers, that THEY now had to do the job that was Otis's job and get the walkers. So the knowledge of the little girl died with Otis.

Also, the host tried to trick Robert to reveiling whether Michonne will show up, Robert more or less said, as soon as possible because he was sick of the question.

Man, I just LOVE this show!! The tension going on with Hershel and the group is really starting to grow. Sooner or later, they'll have to leave his land, and, boy, that'll start some trouble.
I really am starting to hate Shane 'cause of his actions and his freakin' tempers. But, if it wasn't for his actions, the group would most likely be dead. But also, his actions have horrible consequences. So, yeah. Still hate Shane. But the actor is very talented, and they should keep him on for a little while longer.
Rick had to do what he had to do to keep the group on Hershel's land/farm (bringing the walkers into the barn). He did not like it, but he didn't want any trouble with Hershel. All he wanted was for the group to be safe and away from danger.

Again, amazing show!! Though it may differ from the comics, it's still an entertaining and amazing show.

This show has been kind of boring this season and some of the characters are just really really dumb. Right now the only characters of any interest are the asshole Shane and the redneck Darryl. The last episode was pretty good though and may have set things down a better path plot wise.

The last episode was AMAZING. I just wish they would've made the final shot by Rick to Sophie's head a bit more realistic. That sh!t would've evaporated the back of her head upon exiting!
