I understand why people are upset that this show isn't scary, but it honestly is a suspense/drama about humanity and morality when civilization collapses. It's not supposed to be a classic horror show about zombies. If it were, it would be like the hundreds of other shows and movies, and it wouldnt be as successful as it is now. The show isn't supposed to be about the zombies. It's about the other humans as a threat to our main cast.

To people complaining that the show is a "Drama" and not a "horror" show, then why are you watching? why are you commenting in this thread? move along trolls.

Since season ONE they have explained to us that it wouldn't be a horror series, but a suspense driven drama series. The walking dead are the humans, not the zombies. The zombies are just a force driving the story line..

I just don't understand the stupidity sometimes.

Very good season opener.I'm expecting Rick and Daryl to face off soon. Seems like Daryl is starting to question Ricks actions. There were hints of that least season. And I hope we get to see a episode focusing on Michonne and Morgan...I want to see them whoop some ass together.

The haters of this show are hilarious. Just hate for hate's sake and nothing more. That season premiere was great! Far better than anything these trolls have ever produced. Wait what that? They've produce literally zero creative things in their entire lives but sit around and criticize others' amazing work? LMAO what a bunch of barnacles.

hahaha we are in season 6 and people still think its trying to be scary

i get that its popular to hate on something that is considered great. (TWD GoT Marvel DC) but dont say you dont like something if your too dumb to understand it.

Great premiere.. Loving the whole settlement story arch too..
But I'm in Alexandria,Va. I've Worked and maneuvered all through these streets for the past 10/11 yrs.... They are NOT in Alexandria, Va.. lol

I thought the episode was excellent. The story was engaging and I really enjoyed the use of black and white to differentiate between the past and present timelines. The first appearance of a real zombie horde was most welcome (coming from a comic reader). There were humorous parts that I enjoyed as well, such as the "at least nothing happened to the hair" quip directed at Eugene. I thought it was a nice nod to the fans.

It's far better than anything I've seen yingyangpalms produce, there's no doubt there.
