Announced by Telltale Games at E3 today, The Walking Dead: Michonne will take place between the events of issues #126 and #139 of the Image comic book series. "In many ways, Michonne herself is a reflection of the world of The Walking Dead," said creator and writer Robert Kirkman. "She is brutal and cold on the outside, but deep beneath what is broken, she remains hopeful, trying to claw her way out of the darkness that surrounds her. In our effort to bring the world of the comic and the world of the Telltale series closer together, there is no greater character than Michonne to help bridge that gap." A trailer hasn't been released yet, but we do know that the three part series will debut on XBox 360, XBox One, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, PC, iOS, and Android this Fall. The first official artwork for The Walking Dead: Michonne can be seen below.

When people say "the struggle is real", it means NOTHING. Until SHE says it.

I lost interest in the show about halfway through last season, but this is actually a pretty neat idea. Michonne is one of the few interesting characters, and her mostly unknown backstory is perfect for the Telltale games to explore. Plus she's an all-around badass who wields a katana and used her undead loved ones as a pair of zombie pets, so that doesn't hurt either.

Hell yes... Taletell games are really quite special, I'm actually really glad they're making it about that section of the comics... The other two seasons were great, 1 being better than 2 but I'll have to wait and see how this fairs!

Funny thing is that they have already done a flashback back story to Michonne in comic form already. I have that story, good story too. Well, She is my favorite character in the Comic. I prefer the comic to the live action but the show is good, I just have not finished Season 4 yet, one day I'll continue on the live action series. LOL.

Look as long as it doesn't end up meaning shit at the end like 400 Days did. I'm all for it but I sure as Hell won't be paying an extra $5 for bullshit DLC not to have it pay off in some way.
