They have explained that Time Lords can gender swap since Series 6, arguably before that in the Classic era when Romana was regenerating and went through different forms.

Series 8 was the worst series of Doctor Who in recent memory. One good episode in Listen, a bunch of average episodes and then the two worst episodes of Doctor Who ever in Kill the Moon and In the Forest of the Night. I might actually drop Doctor Who, if I can drop Gotham when I love Batman I can drop this.

Moffat is polluting the show with silly ideas and non-sensical plotlines that go no where or constantly have no impact & diminish the history & relevance of the show's development & history.

@Ruhail @gentlemanlybatman what are you both on? series 8 was one of the best series it had episodes that were just plain bonkers and episodes were you had to actually think my god there is just no pleasing some people

@dellamorte1872 sorry didn't mean to come off as a jerk, but they did explain that Time Lords could change sex, but it doesn't help that most lines in the more later series are just thrown in as jokes. I'm not a fan of a female Master and him flirting with the Doctor is just wrong for me, even if it's just mind games, but they did explain that Time Lords can change genders with regenerations

But they just recently confirmed that Time Lords can gender swap with The Corsair. It's really one of those pieces of canon that you kinda wish wasn't true, this pretty much just feeds the cries for a female Doctor or no reason other than just because.
