According to Beyondhollywood.co & EW, Kristy Swanson who was 22 when she made the first movie is interested in the reboot. E! Online got Joss Whedon’s funny reaction to the recently announced “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” reboot by Warner Bros. EW went straight to the original Buffy for her thoughts on the reboot. In my opinion: Kristy Swanson could desperately use a job, so get in touch with her ASAP?

Here's what she had to on the matter:

"If they wanted me to be a part of it, I think that would be fantastic and that it would be a blast. There are die-hard Joss Whedon fans who absolutely love him to death, and rightly so. He’s a brilliant man, no doubt. I love everything Buffy. I don’t care who’s doing it."

the movie was not that good Joss Whedon even was unhappy with it thats why he did the tv show thank god cus the tv show was awsome

Why was my comment deleted?All I said was no one was offering her anything.She volunteered.

I also asked why the original article was using that picture from 2000 as if that's what she looks like now.

Isn't the whole point of the new movie to have it be part of the Buffyverse? Regardless, if it's a reboot why the hell would they use the same person? Especially when Joss hated the movie to begin with. Stupid girl. I mean stupid middle aged woman.

Kristy Swanson is 41 years old now she can not play Buffy in 2010.

If the new Buffy is going to be in the style of the movie then it will be a even bigger EPIC FAIL then I originally thought.

Good luck with that lol, cute girl and gr8 in THE PHANTOM, but Buffy is suppose to be a teenager, unless they just carry it on, that would be cool!
