If you’re not caught up on season 3 of “Arrow” this article may contain some SPOILERS. It’s no surprise though that Sara Lance will be returning to DC’s TV universe in February in CW’s new

spinoff DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. “ Played by actress Caity Lotz the resurrection of the hero now known as The White Canary has been a topic of great discussion since her announced return in the new series.

The question was posed to executive producer Marc Guggenheim, and talking with EW’s Natalie Abrams, Guggenheim had this to say.

“On Arrow, we’ve got some business [to handle],” executive producer Marc Guggenheim tells me. “Ray didn’t explode in a catastrophic explosion and Sara needs to not be dead.” Hmm, could the new Ra’s al Ghul, aka Malcolm Merlyn, be the one to resurrect Sara? “He’s got a strong point of view on [that],” Guggenheim says. “It’s going to be handled head-on. We’re doing a really great episode that really tackles the question of Sara, death and resurrection. On Arrow, nothing is easy, so it’s not as simple as dumping her in the water.”

Laying the ground for the new series seems to be a common theme for season 4 of “Arrow” and season 2 of “The Flash”. Are you concerned that it may take away from each shows own stories or enhance them as CW expands their every growing DC universe. Leave your thought below.

DC's Legends of Tomorrow or simply Legends of Tomorrow focuses on time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter, who has to recruit a rag-tag team of heroes and villains to help prevent an apocalypse that could impact not only Earth, but all of time.
A DC Entertainment television series developed by Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Marc Guggenheim, who also executive produce with showrunner Phil Klemmer, and Sarah Schechter. Starring Victor Garber, Brandon Routh, Caity Lotz, Arthur Darvill, Ciara Renée, Franz Drameh, Dominic Purcell, Wentworth Miller.

So... it's basically confirmed both Sarah and Tommy will come back though the resurrection of the Lazarus Pit.

And if it doesn't have any negative effects, ultimately we're all going to ask the question, "Why doesn't Oliver resurrect his mom too?"

About Tommy, I predicted that they'll resurrect him someday no matter what. He's just too good an actor to kill off, and he's make a great villain once Oliver ultimately kills his Dad.

You heard it here first. ;)

Just dump her in the water already.

If Tommy comes back, I'd enjoy seeing him be bad. That would really kill Oliver, not only did he say goodbye to his best friend, then when he returns he wants to kill Oliver.

@NateBest Because I'm not sure who I direct this to, but doing this and a couple of other articles I've noticed that a few categories need to be added. Such as DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Gambit, Jessica Jones, and The Defenders. Thanks.

@superotherside I love your Tommy Idea, and I could see that happening.

I like the idea of Tommy being resurrected and becoming the new Dark Archer, but only if they introduce the fact that the longer you've been dead, the bigger the effects are on you when you're resurrected. I don't want Tommy to just be bad because he blames Ollie for his death or whatever. I want him to be crazy, almost another person, like he barely remembers who he was. Just like Thea when she was brought back, except for him it lasts because he was dead for years.

I would've preferred Sara come back as a villainous White Canary. Black wig n' all. She's been rotting in the grave for how long? Perfect reason as to why the villainous turn. Gone crazy... then turn her over to the good side

I also hope that Arrow spends most of its time on Green Arrow & his core team, rather than putting too much focus on setting up Legends of Tomorrow in the first half

So the show has a cure for death. Stupid, stupid, stupid. The Lazarus pit HAS TO HAVE CONSEQUENCES. Period. Otherwise, it's stupid.
