Danny Cannon has posted the following Gotham season 3 images to Twitter. In addition to returning cast members Camren Bicondova, Donal Logue, Morena Baccarin, Jada Pinkett Smith and Michael Chiklis; we seem to have some monstrous new additions.

The creatures below are presumably a result of Strange's Indian Hill experiments, and one of 'em could well be a new small-screen take on classic Batman baddie, Killer Croc.

Gotham‘s third season is set to debut on Monday, Sept. 19 at 8/7.

Just finished Season 2 and my only complaint is Mr. Freeze. Other than that I had a great time watching it. Season 3 looks kinda iffy with the whole monsters plot.

I don't watch the show but the make up isn't that bad

Didn't they have to murder Arrow's version of the Suicide Squad because the new movie is coming out? I don't think they would allow Croc to be on Gotham.

@MrMartyMarvel - Well they might not specifically refer to him as Croc, but it's almost certainly supposed to be a version of that character.

I really hope Fish won't be a big part of the next season, because in my opinion she has been the weakest character. Hopefully if she dies she stays dead this time.

this show is killer. I love how the tone of Gotham looks like a prequel to SS and BvS

I have one small bit of advice for this show, more Bullock, a lot more.

I quit halfway through S2 because of the prospect of Fish Mooney returning. If they'd kept her dead this'd be something I'd like to keep watching, but there are very few characters in any show I can think of that I liked less... :(
