WHO WILL SAVE THE SON OF GOTHAM ON THE ALL-NEW FALL FINALE OF “GOTHAM” MONDAY, NOVEMBER 30, ON FOX All-New Episodes of GOTHAM Return in 2016! When Bruce Wayne is kidnapped, Gordon must look to some unlikely and dangerous allies for help. It is a battle of the villains, and not everyone makes it out alive in the all-new “Rise of the Villains: Worse Than A Crime” Fall Finale episode of GOTHAM airing Monday, Nov. 30 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Exactly. This is an "Elseworlds" story, once you get over the deviation from the source material, the show rocks, it's just like a good "Elseworlds" comic

The problem i have with this show and i really do like Gotham (more so then Arrow lately) but my problem with it is that they really want to push out the villians instead of doing their origins. I would have prefered a Freeze as a background character who was living with his wife untill things went wrong but i guess that wouldn't be as exciting for them.

"Victor has one central intimate human connection, and that’s with his wife. There’s something really, really interesting and vulnerable and difficult about that. Of course, that is threatened by her illness. In some of the research I did on the character as he has evolved in the comic book, he has a more tenuous connection with humanity and his own humanity, and she’s it. He is applying all his talents and skills and energies to maintaining that."

Agree, and it's one of the best animated Batman movies. Mr. Freeze was one of my favorite villians in the DC animated Universe ;-)

Still haven't watched the show but....I see this show or all these shows as Elseworlds or a different Earth as they take inspiration from comics but have lots of differences....
