GOTHAM: Fox Officially Renews Their Batman Prequel Series For A Fourth Season
Last night, FOX officially picked up their Batman prequel series Gotham for a fourth season, meaning the network will now become the first ever to air both a Marvel & a DC series. Come take a look!
It looks like there's an extremely real possibility that we'll actually get a chance to see Bruce Wayne make the leap from boy millionaire to Caped Crusader by the time Gotham ends its run as FOX has made a decision that, if all goes according to plan, should help get us just a little bit closer to witnessing that iconic moment.
Last night, multiple sources reported that the network has officially renewed the hit superhero prequel series for a fourth year, bringing its episode total to around 88 episodes by Spring 2018, which is coincidentally just around the edge of syndication. No word on which direction the fourth season will take or which villains we'll see, but the show's full cast is expected to return.
On a related note, FOX will now become the first network to air both a DC series and a Marvel series alongside one another during the same television season, having already awarded Matt Nix's X-Men family drama The Gifted with a series order earlier this week.

Season Three will peel back the curtain on the infamous criminal organization known as the Court of The Owls.
