GOTHAM: Get Your First Proper Look At Cameron Monaghan As The Resurrected Jerome Ahead Of Tonight's Episode

Though his hideously scarred face was glimpsed briefly towards the end of last week's instalment of Fox's Gotham, we now have a much better look at Cameron Monaghan as the returning Jerome/Joker...

Last Monday's midseason premiere of Gotham teased the resurrection of the psychotic Jerome, who will most likely go on to become the show's incarnation of Batman's most iconic foe, The Joker.

Though we glimpsed his grotesque visage via some pre-recorded footage, the character is only set to make his grand entrance during tonight's episode, and TV Insider has debuted some official stills of the returning villain.

“I really can’t wait for people to see it,” Monaghan told the site. “We have a few different looks [for him]…it looks really great. Our make-up special effects designer Mike Maddi did a phenomenal job.”

@BillCipher999 - I really hope they make him the official Gotham version of The Joker! Kid hits it out of the park. The last Ep with him could have Bruce (in some sort of proto-Bat outfit) knock him into a vat of chemicals at ACE chem. Last scene with him would be Joker emerging from the goo.

The Jerome character is EVERYTHING the Joker should be and should have been in Suicide Squad! Gotham may be playing fast and loose with the Batman canon, but they hit gold with this character, for sure. And Cameron Monaghan plays that role for all it's worth! IMO, Cameron is the proper and true successor to Heath Ledger's Joker. Screw Jared Leto and his bastard gangsta impostor.

I should try to catch up, missed last week's episode.

Cameron Monaghan can be creepy and also funny as close as Joker is, which is something I always consider important.

Love it. Love this actor's acting chops, love the character, simply put. Wish he had the green hair, but it's cool, lol. Can't wait.

Damn the Razzies are out...

"...Zoolander 2 leads the nomination list with nine, including worst actor and supporting actor for Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson, as well as one for the pair as a “screen combo”. (Stiller gets another personal nom as worst director.) Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is just behind on eight, with Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill duelling for worst actor, and hitherto acclaimed performer Jesse Eisenberg in the worst supporting list."

- The Guardian

They should have one for TV!
