GOTHAM: Here's Who Makes Bruce Wayne's Ridiculous Looking "Batsuit" In Season 4

It's been compared to a "gimp suit" by comic book fans but we now know which supporting character is providing the young Bruce Wayne with his first superhero costume in the fourth season of Gotham...

It was always said that Gotham would finish with Bruce Wayne standing atop a rooftop as the city's Dark Knight but it now appears as if the series is going to get us to that point sooner than expected.

Promos for season four have shown David Mazouz suited up in a fairly ridiculous looking proto-Batsuit which has been widely ridiculed by comic book fans. However, who exactly is responsible for Bruce suiting up as a Caped Crusader? Well, it's not Alfred Pennyworth (which is what happened in Batman: Earth One). Instead, it's going to be Wayne Enterprises executive turned police forensic scientist Lucius Fox, something which is sure to be familiar to fans of Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Trilogy

"Yes, Lucius is beginning to suspect that Alfred and Bruce might have a double life and politely weaves his way in," current Gotham showrunner Danny Cannon confirmed in a recent interview with TV Line. "Lucius has worked for Wayne Industries and he may work there again one day, and for right now he doesn’t want to see Bruce get hurt. So he finds a way of helping without interfering."

How do you guys feel about Bruce's new look in the series? Are you excited to see "Batman" come to Gotham? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts and theories in the comments section below.

I don't watch the show anymre but my roommate does and she says the only training he has is a few boxing tutorials from Alfred. Doubt that prepares him to become a vigilante at this stage.

@BlackBeltJones - I was hoping the show would include him travelling the world training, with flipbacks to gotham. The final season is year 1.

Apparently not.

@BillGrave - If ever I was going to watch a pre-Batman show about Bruce becoming the famed vigilante, I'd want him to be traveling the world and training. That's be compelling tv: a young man seeking to hone his body and mind to the peak of perfection, while getting a handle on his own demons and trauma on the process

I just can't get into Gotham. No offense to those who enjoy it.

Discovering how he's capable of doing this

Is more enticing than this

That's just me.

I'm just here to hang with other people who don't watch the show anymore.

That being said, I'll try for the sixth or seventh time to watch it again with the new season...

I suspect that he will run through many iterations before he decides on the Bat motif. And he will probably get his ass handed to him at some point, spurring him to get more advanced fight training than just the boxing that Alfred has taught him. I am still intrigued by the whole history of Gotham that spurred Bruce to decide to be the Bat to protect Gotham from the growing number of villains that Gotham is dealing with.

I watch the show and am a lifelong Batman fan. I'm ok with all of this knowing the DC/WB strategy, that I'm not necessarily on board with. Enjoy your bitching though.

Are there are actually people who enjoy this show non ironically. To me the only way to get through this show as to look at it from a so bad it's good perspective, so the whole thing is just hilarious trash T.V that I have a guilty pleasure for.
