Next week on Gotham, Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) and Jeremiah Valeska (Cameron Monaghan) head to Ace Chemicals where they'll finally square off and based on their storied comics history, there's only one way this brutal showdown could end - which could lead to one of the more exciting closing moments in the show's entire history.

Meanwhile, Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and Lee Thompkins (Morena Baccarin) will find themselves in a serious bind when they begin to investigate and uncover the truth about the criminals that may be seeking to end talks of Gotham's reunification to the mainland.

GOTHAM is an origin story of the great DC Comics Super-Villains and vigilantes, revealing an entirely new chapter that has never been told. From executive producer and writer Bruno Heller and executive producers Danny Cannon and John Stephens, GOTHAM follows the rise of Det. James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) through a dangerously corrupt city teetering between good and evil, and chronicles the birth of one of the most popular super heroes of our time. Beginning in Winter 2019, GOTHAM will air its fifth and final season, wrapping up this beloved series in a farewell event that will focus on Bruce Wayne’s (David Mazouz) transformation into the caped crusader.

Gotham features:
Ben McKenzie as James Gordon
Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock
David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne
Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth
Morena Baccarin as Leslie Thompkins
Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin
Erin Richards as Barbara Kean
Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle
Cory Michael Smith as Edward Nygma/The Riddler

Goddamn, Jeremiah is so much fun. Cameron Managhan has given us two terrific Jokers in Jerome and Jeremiah, can't wait to see him give us a third.

Last night's episode was really good too!

@HeavyMetal4Life - Im sure Jeremiah will be the last one, if they had more time maybe they would have done a 3rd
HeavyMetal4Life
HeavyMetal4Life - 2/15/2019, 9:09 PM
@dracula - we're getting a third one (which is probably just Jeremiah reincarnated in the Ace chemical bath)

dracula - 2/15/2019, 9:11 PM
@HeavyMetal4Life - Oh I thought you meant a completely different character, like the possible clone of Jerome we heard at the end of season 2
HeavyMetal4Life
HeavyMetal4Life - 2/15/2019, 9:19 PM
@dracula - well the showrunner and Cameron described it as a 3rd character

@HeavyMetal4Life - I thought his Jerome portrayal was so much better just my opinion
HeavyMetal4Life
HeavyMetal4Life - 2/16/2019, 11:06 AM
@blitzburgh - yeah I could perhaps agree with that. He just was more unhinged, further right on the crazy scale. Jeremiah is a prim and proper Joker, high class. We also spent 4 seasons with Jerome and have essentially had one season with Jeremiah.

DC shows this week on TV:

1. Gotham- pretty good
2. Arrow- pretty good/good
3. Black Lightning- good
4. Flash- mediocre

dracula - 2/15/2019, 9:09 PM
@HeavyMetal4Life - So far id say Gotham is the strongest show this year
HeavyMetal4Life
HeavyMetal4Life - 2/15/2019, 9:10 PM
@dracula - yeah, so far for episodes that have aired in 2019, its the strongest, followed by Arrow.

dracula - 2/15/2019, 9:12 PM
@HeavyMetal4Life - weakest is probably flash this year

HeavyMetal4Life - 2/15/2019, 9:19 PM
@dracula - without a doubt

@dracula - Isn't Gotham the strongest show every year?
dracula
dracula - 2/16/2019, 4:59 PM
@Skinwalker - not 100% sure, its definietly my favorite dc show, and it is the only one that is consistantly good, having gotten better each season, but it did start the same year as Flash season 1, and Gotham season 1, while good, was quite slow at times. Season 3 was great, id say its debatable which is better Arrow season 5 or Gotham season 3.

HeavyMetal4Life - 2/16/2019, 8:01 PM
@dracula - Arrow season 5

@Skinwalker- its one of the strongest, but not THE strongest every year

I wish Gotham wasn't cancelled, aye carumba
dracula
dracula - 2/15/2019, 9:09 PM
@bobevanz - At least the show wont go down hill, although would have been nice if the show had gone on for 7 seasons like they planned
SabreToof
SabreToof - 2/16/2019, 4:32 PM
@bobevanz - I wouldn't call it so much a cancellation as maybe an early ending, because they couldn't see the series lasting long enough for David Mazouz to grow into the Batman look.

Such a good episode, indeed.

This is hilarious. They found a kind of way to reference both Joker killing Bruce's parents in Burton's film AND Cesar Romero's mustache. That's amazing.
