Even if they are just going to make Mr. Freeze like Captain Cold, it is still completely implausible that Gordon and the revolving door GCPD could take him down. I like this show and I'm still hopeful it will eventually find it's way, but they absolutely need some kind of vigilante at this point. I personally feel Dr. Mid-Nite would be a great choice and he could replace Nygma in the Medical Examiners office. I also really hope we get a costumed Azrael in the back half of the season, even if it isn't like his Arkham suit.

I agree that it's going to get increasingly improbable that Gordon can stop these people. I was very pleased when he tried to fight Galavan 1 on 1 and got his shit kicked in.

It'll be interesting to see where they take Freeze in this series. I'm guessing he's working as an enforcer for somebody who claims they can help Nora.

He could be. I also have two other theories:

1. He's killing the businessmen who are trying to shut down his freeze experiments so that he can save Nora.

2. Victor Fries isn't Mr. Freeze yet, and the cliffhanger was just a glimpse into the future of the show.

I guess we won't know for certain until the series returns in late February.

This show has really become nothing but a big mess. If they simply would have made a show about the comic Batman: Year One by Frank Miller, it would have been great & the ages would not have been so far off. This show wants a joker, so they bring one in who has already snapped 7 years before Bruce Wayne has any reasonable chance at becoming Batman. This show simply put: "out kicked their coverage."
