HBO Max has announced that the adult animated adventures of Harley Quinn will return to our screens on Thursday, July 28, and we have a typically insane new teaser trailer to accompany the news.
The promo finds Harls and Poison Ivy enjoying their new status as a couple, but the former invites a whole heap of trouble into their lives by marking their "two-week anniversary" by kidnapping the leader of The Suicide Squad, Amanda Waller.
We assume this won't bode well for our loved-up anti-heroes, but at least they'll have some backup after being reunited with old pals King Shark and Clayface.
The trailer also features Firefly, Swamp Thing, James Gunn (the director will be voicing a character based on himself for a single episode), Batman and Catwoman getting intimate, and a Court of Owls orgy!
The trailer was shared online by star Kaley Cuoco, who teased the “great, ridiculous, [and] more and more insane” third season during an interview with TV Line. “They are living life, loving each other, fighting…,” said Cuoco of her character and Ivy. “Their relationship is the main focal point of this season, and it’s hilarious and actually really, really sweet.”
We recently learned that a Kite Man spinoff is in the works, so expect Ivy's hapless ex to factor in somewhere. Dick Grayson/Nightwing will also be joining the fun, as voiced by What We Do in The Shadows alum Harvey Guillén.
