Grant Gustin's Barry Allen is pulling double duty this week as he guest stars on tonight's new episode of Supergirl before leasing his own show, Tuesday night.  Arrow is also preparing for its end game run as the Bug-eyed Bandit launches an all out attack on Palmer Tech, Wednesday night.

SUPERGIRL - World's Finest
Kara gains a new ally when the lightning-fast superhero The Flash (Grant Gustin) suddenly appears from an alternate universe and helps Kara battle Siobhan, aka Silver Banshee, and Livewire in exchange for her help in finding a way to return him home, on SUPERGIRL, Monday, March 28 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Grant Gustin crosses over as The Flash.

THE FLASH - Flash Back
After the shocking revelation that Zoom is Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears), Barry (Grant Gustin) is more determined than ever to get back to Earth-2 to stop Zoom forever. Desperate to find a way to increase his speed, Barry decides to travel back in time and masquerade as his earlier self in order to get his arch-nemesis, Dr. Harrison Wells/Eobard Thawne (Tom Cavanagh), to teach him how to run faster. However, things don’t go as planned and Barry is stunned to face familiar foe Hartley Rathaway (guest star Andy Mientus), as well as old friend Eddie Thawne (guest star Rick Cosnett). Iris (Candice Patton) makes peace with her past in order to embrace her future. Alice Troughton directed the episode penned by Aaron Helbing and Todd Helbing (#217).

ARROW - Beacon of Hope
Brie Larvan (guest star Emily Kinney) breaks out of jail and turns up at Palmer Tech threatening to kill everyone unless she gets the bio-chip that is implanted in Felicity’s (Emily Bett Rickards) spine. When Oliver (Stephen Amell) realizes that Felicity, Thea (Willa Holland) and Donna (guest star Charlotte Ross) are trapped in Palmer Tech with everyone else, he looks to a surprising ally to help Team Arrow save the day. Michael Schultz directed the episode written by Ben Sokolowski & Brian Ford Sullivan (#417). Original airdate 3/30/16.

LEGENDS OF TOMORROW - Left Behind
Ray (Brandon Routh), Sara (Caity Lotz) and Kendra (Ciara Renée) are shocked after they watch the Waverider fly off without them, leaving them stranded in the ‘50s. After waiting months for their teammates to come back, the three realize they must move on with their lives. Ray and Kendra bond as a couple but Sara decides to return to the League of Assassins and Ra’s al Ghul (guest star Matt Nable). John Showalter directed the episode written by Beth Schwartz & Grainne Godfree (#109).

Awesome, totally forgot this was tonight. I really hope it does good so they do a Flash episode, just thinking about Cisco reacting to SG makes me laugh.

I saw a clip and it was more awkward than I thought it would be. Sounds like they will be spending a lot of time on how weird it is that it's happening at all, like going to a dentist who turns out to be your wife's ex-boyfriend.

Totally gonna watch this tonight. I don't care what you guys say, supergirl is fun. And they're doing the race! The race! Although,... if flash doesn't win, I riot.

And by riot I mean mess up my bed and throw my sheets in the air. And then make the bed,... you can't just leave your bed a mess!

Damn. The chick who plays super girl has a fine ass body. Girl rocks that hard ass with serious weights in the gym. Girl is hot. Episode was horrible though.

Cat Grant: You look like the attractive yet nonthreatening racially diverse cast of a CW show. Who are you?

I laughed out loud when she said that.

Time for all of the haters, whiners, DC/Marvel only fans & complainers to......SHUT UP. I will be 59 in 11 days. Back in 1963, my dad bought a box of comics for me to polish up my newfound reading skills. The box included some stuff you won't see anymore (Plastic Man with best pal Woozy!) and a few I really should have hung on to (Avengers #2 - The Space Phantom....dang!) and other assorted "World's Finest", Superman, Batman, Captain America, etc. While my comics reading has declined over the years, it has been a real joy to see the superhero to TV/movie explosion over the last decade; especially fun to share these productions with my now-13-year-old son. Occasionally getting to fill in some gaps for him or explain references to comics/shows/movies from the past that crop up so often on the screen. All of the negativity that continues to flow on websites like this one is moronic; are you folks trying to stop these productions? For old farts like me getting to see characters from the pages now live-action on the screen (so much better than any of the animated stuff over the years...excepting much of Bruce Timm's work and Young Justice) is so awesome. The tone, message and characters on Supergirl and Flash are great and seeing Grant and Melissa together last night was, well, super. It really felt like they were enjoying the process as well and the episode, while not exactly a major leap forward in central story for either character, was well done and their chemistry was ideal (super nerds....unite!). Having 30-70 years of stories, characters and settings to draw from along with studios now willing to give these things a shot makes this a second golden age for superhero fans. Give all of the carping and bitching a break and enjoy this while it lasts....

I hate to say this, but CW's Supergirl is more likeable than Snyder's Superman. And I'm a huge Superman fan ... Sheesh
