THE FLASH: Title Of Season 4 Episode 16 has Been Revealed!

Fans of Iris West will surely be pleased with the title of this episode... The rest of the fan-base might not be as pleased though.

So far season 4 of The Flash has many fans displeased with the storytelling this season or the lack of an intense villain. In saying that, it will be interesting to see how people react to the title of the 16th episode this season. As many people know by now, Iris West will be suiting up this season as a speedster. For those who aren't yet aware, below is a photo of Candice Patton (Iris West) suited up:

The photo, along with three others similar to this one have surfaced the internet in the past couple of days and fans have not reacted as well as the writers would've wanted. The episode in which Iris will suit up is episode 16, otherwise titled: "Run Iris, Run." Going by the title, it's obvious that Iris will somehow have either access to the speed force or gain speed powers through other means.

Fans have theorized that the way Iris will gain her powers is through pregnancy. Similar to Cecile, Iris would get pregnant and get the same or similar powers to the person she got pregnant from, in this case it'd be Barry Allen. Another theory could be that Iris might've taken velocity 9 due to perhaps a major villain that cannot be stopped simply by Elongated Man. However, by the time this episode comes around, Barry Allen will be back as our beloved Flash. So what could really be so bad that Iris gets a suit and powers? It could also be another Iris from another earth, I guess it'll be interesting to see how this episode pans out.

What do you think of this though? Are you excited to see Iris West suit up? Or are you hoping this would just be a villain from another Earth. Let us know!

It could be like that Smallville episode, where Lana temporarily gained Clark's powers. I doubt it'll be permanent however.

I am so excited for this because I love Iris so much and she has been one of the brightest spots of the show in my opinion and I may even risk to say this season (it's not that hard when Ralph is an annoying [frick], DeVoe is elongated nonsense, and everyone else but Barry has had reduced roles). I hope this episode is great, because that last one was boring as hell.

I hate Iris and all her “we” stuff.. “we” did a good job, “we” stopped the bad guy, “we” will save the city. But it’s Barry that does everything for the most part, it Barry who gets hurt, or puts himself in danger. It Barry who’s in jail, it was Barry who was trapped in the speed force, it’s Barry’s parents who’ve died, it’s Barry who’s running around getting stuff done. Yes sometimes Cisco, or “Killer Frost” helps out, but very rarely does Iris do anything other than get in the way.

Every time she says “we”, I hate her a little more.
