Don't Expect This GAME OF THRONES Season 7 Character To Escape Their Dire Predicament

Ellaria Sand is currently a prisoner of Queen Cersei in a deep, dark King's Landing dungeon and the show won't be depicting her escape or even checking in on her torment anytime soon.

In the Queen's Justice, Euron Greyjoy proved he's not just all swagger and bravado by delivering to Cersei the lead conspirator of the plot that saw her only daughter die of poison.  In typical Cersei fashion, an especially cruel punishment for Ellaria Sand was concocted and many Game of Thrones fans assumed the show would peek in from time-to-time to show how that was playing out.

However, it doesn't sound like that's going to be the case according to Indria Varma, who plays the mother Sand Snake on the show.  Perhaps what's more interesting is the explanation Varma gives for why her character made her exit last episode.

"Obviously there’s lots of trimming going on. It’s all coming to a head and you have to get rid of less important characters that the audience hasn’t had the chance to invest in as much.  But of course I don’t die on screen. I stay alive, I’m just not going to reappear. I think it’s really clever."

Depending on how this season shakes out, perhaps we'll get a glimpse of Ellaria in season 8?

She'll get her freedom back once Cersei dies. Even if we only see her briefly during an end of episode montage.

I dont watch this show, but I always thought this story should end with the only pacifist finally ending up on the throne because everybody else killed each other. I dont know if she qualifies, or if any of them do.

I'm guessing if we see her again, it'll only be from the neck up. On a spike.

@Dunejedi - I'm guessing we see her, when Bronn tries to save the SandSnake.
