Long Live The King....
IN HELL!

I hear the laughter of babies whenever I revisit Joffrey choking in my head. What did I do to deserve such joy.

FINALLY! Joffrey is dead.

So did you guys enjoy his death? I did when I read the books. For me, it was one of the more gratifying moments of the series. Tommen will do much better as king, but oh boy, poor Tyrion. Talk about the Tyrells setting off a chain of events they may live to regret.

So, not really a spoiler at this point, but interested in hearing some theories:

There are three dragons.

WHO will be the three dragon-riders? All the dragons in Westeros history had legendary riders. Deanerys has three dragons, and she can only ride one.

Her destiny has always been to return to Westeros.

So who do you guys think are the TRHEE dragon riders?

@SuperCat
Not necessarily a *SPOILER*
But after 5 books, that B!+č# is still alive.

monserviam: True, but oh god would they shit their pants if they knew WHO is no longer "alive" at the end of Dance of Dragons!!!!

My guess for the three dragon riders:

1. Daenerys.

2. Arya.

3. Tyrion.

mctrinket, I think he will get a LOT of work after Game of Thrones.

Anyone know if he is related to Jackie Gleason? I may have that wrong...

krik, no, the Tyrells do.

Or who is left in fricken limbo....

Lying in a pool of blood due to massive betrayal, written off as dead in a letter from a mad man looking for his bride......

This is always the worst part of being a fan of ASOIAF.
bropous
bropous - 4/13/2014, 7:35 PM
Suck-ass part is, the Tyrells have no problem using my FAVORITE character from all five books to be their scapegoat.

Next on stage: The Red Viper [no, NOT my favorite character from all five books].

Was there a pig and a dog in a jousting match at the celebration?
nonserviam
nonserviam - 4/13/2014, 7:36 PM
Oh, and in the presence of The Grey Lady. I forgot about that 1.

@bropous Daenerys, Jon Snow(if he really is blood of the dragon )& Aegon Targaryen
nonserviam
nonserviam - 4/13/2014, 7:37 PM
No, No Penny and Grote. And Bronn instead of Illyn Payne.
bropous
bropous - 4/13/2014, 7:38 PM
No, nonserviam, that is NOT the worst part of being a fan of A Song of Ice and Fire.

Waiting for that fat bastard to write another book is the WORST part of being a fan of A Song of Ice and Fire!!!!!

HOW fecking long did we wait for Dance of Dragons? And how GODDAMNED long are we going to wait until the release of Winds of Winter???

I think a certain shocking victim of betrayal will end up just like a certain victim of The Red Wedding, or, alternatively, like a certain rider of an elk, if you get my drift...

That's what I was implying. Having to wait for the next book with SO many things left up in the air.

bropous - 4/13/2014, 7:41 PM
SuperCat, you will SHIT your pants while reading the last three pages of Dance with Dragons (the fifth, most recent book). Seriously. I certainly did.

Martin can absolutely throw a ringer in and toss the entire tapestry into the unravelling machine.
bropous
bropous - 4/13/2014, 7:42 PM
nonserviam, did YOU see the ending of Dance with Dragons coming? I mean, we WERE given SUBTLE hints that there were problems developing there, but did you see it coming?

It took me absolutely by surprise.

And it pissed me off.

Seriously.

I thought the Red Wedding was a screw-job...

If they ever bring Cold Hands ever makes it into the series.

They've totally written out Strong Belwas so far. Why not him?
JoeMomma29
JoeMomma29 - 4/13/2014, 7:45 PM
But I must say the guy who plays him is very talented.
bropous
bropous - 4/13/2014, 7:45 PM
Yup, been waiting for you guys to experience Joffrey's death for a while now.

So. Speculation time.

WHO do you think did the deed?

But god damn, if Penny and her pig were not at the wedding, I think that is a MAJOR mistake for the later seasons of the series. TERRIBLE decision if that is correct.

@ Bropous

Well the books never clearly says who did the deed, but I speculate it was the King's fool or the future Queen's grandmother.

@ bropous

Good question (the deed)! I'm having fun trying to figure it out.
