Lena Headey enjoys posting
Game Of Thrones spoilers before anyone who hasn't read the books is aware that they are actually being spoiled! Take the below image from a couple of months ago:
Obviously we now know that she was foreshadowing the gruesome fate of Oberyn Martell in this past Sunday's ep, but to the casual fan it just looks like Headey is having some fun with actor Pedro Pascal. But this next pic may hint at something even book readers weren't certain we'd see this season...if at all! The resurrection of Catelyn Stark as Lady Stoneheart.
Yes, in the novels Cat is returned to life by Thoros of Myr in much the same way he continuously reanimates Lord Beric Dondarrion -- though Catlyn's body is so long dead that in order to bring her back, Beric must sacrifice himself once and for all. Cat then takes over leadership of the Brotherhood Without Banners, calling herself Lady Stoneheart and swearing vengeance against those who had any part at all in the "red wedding". It's a particularly controversial plot point in George R.R. Martin's novels (which quite a lot of fans aren't particularly fond of), so many had wondered when and if we'd see her appearance on the show. If Headey's pic is anything to go by it could well be in the upcoming season 4 finale.
