Can't wait to see the Mountain and Red Viper show down. Having said that, they are getting too much away from the source material and it's taking something away from the show. Still, I'm hooked, so bring it on.

I don't understand the complaints about the last few episodes being "slow." They're setting up the story. Just because there aren't action beats every 10 seconds doesn't make the episode slow. The season has been great as has the acting.

Love the show, but I need to read the books.

These last few episodes have had more happen than in any other season so far. I really don't get why people are calling them "slow" or "boring".. Are you guys not paying attention to whats going on?

"The Children" is a big indicator of who Bran will meet.

I second Beto...by far the most eventful and deadly half of any season probably? Think about how many people have died, big or small.

Kevberg - good thing they'll never have to worry about a slow season! Episode 4 was probably the slowest this year and that was an incredible episode!

The only problem with this show is that the shows are too short and the seasons are too short!

kevberg: they have one big climax per episode. they don't need to hand out the candy all in one basket. Character development is important in this series. if you don't get into that then I don't understand how you can Watch any tv. The show has been well-paced so far, except that they gave you a big shocker in episode 2 and hd the build-up episodes afterwards. It's no different from any other season. Just because you don't get thousands of people dying every week does not mean the show is slow or boring. i bet you miss tons of stuff watching this show. I bet you didn't even realize that in episode 5 sansa used the same sentence she told Margaery in season 3 to get herself out of trouble with Lysa by demeaning herself and telling a lie. She's learning but it's a process and a process has to be shown to be believable and that's the case with every character. If Tyrion had not been so downbeat last season and at the beginning of this season the outburst at the end of the latest episode would have made no sense because it would have come out of nowhere. The payoff needs a proper build-up and I find subtle character interactions to be much more interesting than big setpieces that are fun for a moment but then get repetitive really quickly.

I'm revealing some big spoilers here cause what it looks like they're doing in the show is moving things around from the book, so non-readers, if you don't want to be spoiled, then don't read this..............

I saw the trailer for episode 7 and it showed Lysa trying to push Sansa through the moon door, and LittleFinger in the snow with her next to the snow castle her and little Robert built (Lysa's son is named Robert in the book, not Robin), when Balish kisses her and Lysa sees it. Now, it might be episode 7 they push up the end of the book with LittleFinger throwing Lysa through the moon door in the next episode instead of at the end, leaving it open for the rest to happen in 8, 9, and 10, cause according to the synopsis's up top, it sounds like episode 10 is going to end with Tyrion killing Shae and his father and then escape. As for Catelyn, a.k.a Lady Stoneheart appearing at the very last page of the book, she might do the same at the very last scene of episode 10. Gonna have to wait and see...can't wait.

This season isn't slow, and anyone who says otherwise doesn't know their ass from their face.

@Blinky, I'm pretty sure the 9th episode is talking about the Night Watch getting attacked by the Wildlings/red head chick with the bow. It doesn't mention Stannis at all. Unless you know something I'm missing from the description.
