I swear the dude looks like Waldau from afar. A pretty drastic change in appearance. So what was the reason behind the recasting of Daario? does any one know?

I'm curious to know why the replacement too....i saw no problem with the previous actor...

@Ror I wouldn't say he was shite....not on par with the other lead cast clearly, but i'm unsure if his character is a big part to fill, i wasn't bothered by him?

If his character is a large one, don't shoot me...i haven't read the books :s

The character isn't particularly major in the books, but you get the feeling he may yet play a bigger role. Still, that Skrein dude just didn't cut it for me on the show.

Skerin did such a great job in nailing the look, mannerisms, etc.

I'll give this guy a shot because -- let's be fair he could pull off a great Daario. Daario was supposed to have a beard in the books, something Skerin was missing but this will come down purely to acting ability.

I liked the first actor and this is a pretty drastic change, so I'm going to have to be sold on this pretty well.

Dont like this recast at all, the other guy was perfect, why was he even recast in the first place?. This guy doesn't even look or resemble the previous guy.

The actor playing Barristan Selmy is really living up to the moniker of "Ser Grandfather" in those pictures. I hope to see him kick some ass this next season.

Urm, yeah, I've never been a fan of the Daario character in the books. I didn't really like the guy they got for the role, and I wasn't fond of the lack of Daario's overly extravagant looks, but I got used to him.

There are few things I hate more in movies and television than recastings, especially when there isn't any appearant reason for it. :(

Ah well, this new guy might end up being great. At least it's only the second actor for the role, not like with The Mountain...
