GAME OF THRONES Season 7 Finale Is Titled "The Dragon And The Wolf"; Will Run For Almost 80 Minutes

HBO has officially announced that this Sunday's season 7 finale of Game of Thrones, "The Dragon and the Wolf", will be the longest episode of the show yet, clocking in at a near-movie length 79 minutes...

HBO has revealed that this Sunday's season 7 finale of Game of Thrones will be titled "The Dragon and the Wolf", which should make Dany/Jon shippers happy - although if The Dragon Queen really is The King in The North's Aunt, well... that's gonna get awkward.

At any rate, we'll have plenty of time to see how events unfold as the episode is set to run for 79 minutes and 43 seconds, making it the longest ever instalment of the epic fantasy drama series.

Will Dany and Jon hook up? Will they manage to convince Cersei to join the fight against The White Walkers? Will Arya and Sansa realise they're being manipulated before it's too late? Tune in on Sunday night to find out.

@Doomsday8888 - Possibly it will be early 2019 so the finale will coincide with the beginning of Spring.

I believe that Nikolaj Coster-Waldau let it slip the other day that shooting for S8 starts in October of this year. And some sets have already been built at the Winterfell site.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that we will get the final season (by surprise) Fall 2018.

@L0RDbuckethead - This season started filming around the same time last year.So it's quite possible that we get around the same time as we did this year.

@Trumpool - naw...fall 2018. A whole year for 6 episodes ? No. They better not...eventhough it would be great to release a 2 and a half hour finale in the cinemas.

@Trumpool - the fact winds of winter still hasn't been finished is bad enough imagine how long it'll be until he writes the last one.

What a show. So so good. Serious question...has a show ever came a long like this where characters have never, ever met after 6 seasons and ...I'm talking main characters. Seeing Snow with "danny" and so on. Just great writing. It's like nothing else. Bring on the season finale...But damn I hate when this show ends.

They will hook up, but I don't see jon staying with her when he realizes that she's his aunt. Who gives a shit when CLEAGANBOWL is so close and in the Dragon pit no less.
