Encouraged by the Red Wedding slaughter in the Riverlands that wiped out many of their Stark nemeses, the Lannisters’ hold on the Iron Throne remains intact … but can they survive their own egos, as well as new and ongoing threats from the south, north and east? While an unbowed Stannis Baratheon continues to rebuild his army in Dragonstone, a more immediate danger comes from the south, as Oberyn Martell, the Lannister-loathing “Red Viper of Dorne,” arrives at King’s Landing to attend Joffrey’s wedding to Margaery Tyrell, and perhaps act on an ulterior agenda. In the north, a depleted Night’s Watch seems overmatched against the inexorable Wall advances of Mance Rayder’s army of wildlings, which in turn is being trailed by an even more formidable foe: the undead White Walkers. As if that weren’t enough, Daenerys Targaryen, accompanied by her menacing trio of dragons and army of Unsullied, is poised to liberate Meereen, the largest city in Slaver’s Bay, which could ultimately provide her with enough ships to sail to Westeros and reclaim the Iron Throne."

Game Of Thrones will be back with another ep this Sunday.

I'm really digging how closely thy are staying to the source material (exception of the rape scene)..

ROR- I heard a rumor that the network will continue to run seasons before the publication of Winds of Winter and beyond, with GRRM on to help navigate the story.. What are your thoughts?

DarthDan - I never read the books. what about the rape scene is unlike the books? Did it not happen at all in the books or was it just more graphic in the books?

Jamie NEVER raped Cersei. They had sex in the room with Jeoffry, but it was consensual.

Hmm. I wonder why they felt compelled to make it a rape scene then. Having sex right next to your dead son's body is dramatic and sick enough for the scene, there really isnt a reason to add to it.

@Charlie
At the pace we're going, they'll run out of source material in 2 seasons.. With A Feast for Crows and Dance with Dragons occurring at the same time, thats a LOT of story to tell, but not much in the way of plot advancement..

I agree with DarthDan. Cersei was only protesting that "it's not right" that she and Jamie have sex next to their dead kid. And this was after she made the first move with the goal of manipulating him into killing Tyrion. She's trying to play him with the only card she has left to play.

Wanna know why the [frick] Dany's hair is [frick]ing blond now.

Serious guys. Take a look at her hair in s01ep01 and then compare it to now.

Isn't Targaryens supposed to have Silver hair? And I'm not complaining about it's lack of faithfullness to the source material, but the TV's incoherent changes.

Someday I'm going to buy each and every one of these prints and dedicate an entire room to showing them off. Awesome stuff, especially the Joffrey death one.

Wait, how come in the description for this season it calls the White Walkers "undead" when they are only a mythical, living race like giants?

People keep confusing the White Walkers with Wights MAK. White Walkers are those mythical creatures, the Wights are basically zombies: dead bodies that the Walkers reanimated and become part of their army now. Not sure why some people find that so hard to keep track of haha

That Joffrey one is awesome. I love the way the wine looks like hands choking him.

@Sauron

I know, I simply fail to understand why everyone calls them zombies or thinks they are undead given that Wights and Walkers look nothing alike.
