GOLDEN GLOBES 2018: In A Ceremony Full Of Surprises, Comic Book Movie Stars Win Across the Board

The Golden Globes ceremony has just finished up, and we have a full list of the winners for you guys right here. No comic book movies were nominated, but plenty of CBM actors walked away with awards...

On the small screen, Stranger Things and Game of Thrones are once again nominated for Best Drama.

Regarding upcoming superhero films, Black Panther stars Daniel Kaluuya and Sterling K. Brown are up for Best Actor in Comedy (Film) and Drama (Television.) Aquaman's Nicole Kidman is also nominated for Best Actress in a Limited series, while her co-star in that film Willem Dafoe is in the running for Best Supporting Actor. Though Logan was not nominated, Hugh Jackman received a nod for his performance in The Greatest Showman.

Now let's all watch a room of pedophiles, racists and abusers and their enablers who knew they were committing these crimes for decades but kept quiet simply because they valued their millions and their fame over their morals and ethics..

These award shows are funny. Most of the nominated are either films or casts from films almost no one sees. It's like these shows are just PR stunts to get audiences interested in films that audiences normally wouldn't be interested in. 4 of the 5 drama's nominated this year have box office tallies that are so small(56 million) that they all probably lost money. If they are so great why is no one watching them?

@defenderofthefaith - Because the GA is [frick]ing dumb. 95% of the movies nominated were goddamn fantastic. Sorry, but I'll take a Lady Bird, Three Billboards, or Florida Project over a Homecoming or Ragnarok any day.
