@Chameleon - I don't think it'll be with Needle. Probably that Valyrian Steel dagger that Bran was reluctant to give her a few episodes ago.

@BlackHulk - totally agree. A season or two ago I'd have said Littlefinger would be the main villain at the end that they'd have to take out, and he'd have a mastermind plot that had been in place for ages that nobody had a clue about. But you're right he's gone small time. The way I'd have ended things is have Littlefinger use his position close to Dany and Jon/Sansa to plant wildfyre from cersei at dragonstone while visiting with jon's crew, and set it off to kill two of her dragons after they leave, and plant evidence that it was Jon who did it. Then Dany and her dothraki would attack the north, who would be forced to fight back not knowing whats going on. They wipe out half of each others armies before they figure out what's happened. Meanwhile Littlefinger has pissed off to King's Landing where Cersei has agreed to marry him for his service (or make him hand). He has the top spot alongside the throne, and Jon and Dany are left with half their armies and only one dragon to fight both Cersei and the White Walkers. Boom, Littlefingered.

Things are just shaping up to be a little 'good vs evil' for Game of Thrones for my liking. I feel like Cersei and the Walkers will both be easy to beat, whereas if Littlefinger had [frick]ed everyone, it would have made things far more exciting. I mean they've got a mountain of dragonglass that kills white walkers, and [frick]ing Sam killed one with that. A whole army armed with it and they're screwed. Plus valyrian steel kills them too and half the main characters have valyrian weapons now. Then add a couple of dragons that breathe fire, which kills the dead? They got no chance. Then they've justgot cersei on her lonesome.

@RorMachine - I agree, however both Arya and Sansa are overly emotional and may blow this up way more than it needs to. Arya and Sansa have always had a strained relationship and it will likely bring up those old feelings, making that existing wedge bigger. Although I can't see it lasting too long either way.

@RorMachine - Exactly what I meant in a related article when I complained about this seasons writing. Littlefinger's intelligence and cunning ability has sharply declined since season one while Cersei went from the vindictive bimbo in season one to an experienced brilliant strategists without having any direct experience or counseling to help her achieve that milestone.

@RorMachine - I also think that Littefinger greatly overestimates how Sansa views him. When Sansa was talking to Bran about the dagger it did actually surprise me how she warned Bran that he likely had ulterior motives.

@RorMachine - The best case scenario is to get Arya to leave. It's clear that she's not cool with what looks like Sansa positioning herself backstabbing Jon. Arya is also suspicious of Littlefinger. He knows that he's limited in just how much he can manipulate her. He's probably deduced that she's an assassin, and that if she wants to, can take him out. So he can't risk Sansa and Arya being united.

That's not saying that it's a smart plan.
