A question that is getting a lot of attention these past few years iun the game of thrones fan base is when is it ok to post spoilers this question really date's back to season 1 of the show when sean bean's character's fate was spoiled by fans of the books and they have continued to do so ever since spoiling sometime's major plot twists always using the line's " it's been out for how many years it's not a spoiler anymore" or " if you don't want to get spoiled stay off-line" now that second comment may indeed help people out but at the same time why can't the one's who intentially spoiling the show just go to a spoiler forum.

Now since the show air's on different days of the week i myself am british so i get the show on a monday does that mean people in america where the show airs on a sunday are right to post spoiler's personally i think that depends a) on how big the spoiler is and b) the person doing if the spoiler is say someone looking at someone else possibly hinting at something huge i wouldn't class that as a spoiler since nothing is spoiled but if it's a major characters death like we had in episode 8 of this year's game of thrones ( which i believe was also spoiled by some fans) then that should be classed as a spoiler.

i think you should wait either say 24 hours or at the latest 48 hours as this gives fans around the world a chance to catch up on the latest episode in which ever way they fancy i now some people say wait 2 weeks but that makes no sense as the episode could be so good you want to talk about it ( hello spoiler forum) so in short a say you should wait anywhere between 24-48 hours and then post spoilers for the show if it's reading the blurb on the back of the book then that's your fault not the book company's fault let's say your reading book one of the series and you ordered the other four and you then read the back of let's say book 4 and it spoil's future events you havn't read yet then that's your fault so in short book reader's if you want to talk about the show use a spoiler fourm.

ps here is the video what the flick did on the subject.

On ASOIAF forums, book related videos, etc, etc. totally cool. It's also fine to post spoilers on the show videos, forums, etc. with a *SPOILER* written there or something. I'm really not fond of when they do it for the sake of ruining the anticipation for others because they "deserve" to be punished for not reading.

This is basically why I plan to read The Winds of Winter when it comes out so I can be awed by the story as it unfolds in the books through GRRM's words and not somebody intentionally blurting it all our to ruin it for others.

Have you ever been at the market and saw someone from behind and thought, "She is either 15 or 40...but she's put together," only to have said person turn around and it's an 11 year old boy?

I'm asking...for...a friend of course.
