When I first read Watchmen, it change my whole perspectives of what comics could be like. While I find the idea of exploring the characters and events prior interesting, without AM involved it will be like reading fan fiction.

have you even read Watchmen? it is no way shape or form a kids book. yet you talk about the Before Watchmen like they should be. that would undermine the character's themselves and Moore's work. they are adult characters simple as that. and there are comics for kids. like Batman and friends or something.

When I was a kid comics were available at 7-11s, drug stores etc. Of course true comic fans would only buy at a comic store. Its such blasphemy to buy a comic at the evil Walmart
