We saw some clips during last year's New York Comic-Con, and Hulu has now debuted the first teaser trailer for its upcoming M.O.D.O.K. animated series, which stars Patton Oswalt as the titular Marvel Comics supervillain.

The stop-motion animated comedy series is the brainchild of Oswalt and EP/showrunner Jordan Blum, who wanted to delve into what a "Mobile Organism Designed Only for Killing" did in his down-time when he wasn't battling The Avengers and striving for world domination.

Check out the teaser below and let us know if you plan on checking this out.

The series will on the megalomaniacal supervillain M.O.D.O.K. (Patton Oswalt), who "has long pursued his dream of one day conquering the world. But after years of setbacks and failures fighting the Earth’s mightiest heroes, M.O.D.O.K. has run his evil organization A.I.M. into the ground. Ousted as A.I.M.’s leader, while also dealing with his crumbling marriage and family life, the Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing is set to confront his greatest challenge yet!"

Marvel's first foray into the world of adult animation also stars Aimee Garcia (Lucifer) as M.O.D.O.K.'s wife Jodie, Ben Schwartz (Parks and Recreation) as his oddball son Lou, and Melissa Fumero (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) as his daughter Melissa, who shares her father's... unique appearance.

All 10 episodes of Marvel's M.O.D.O.K. will be available to stream on Hulu from Friday, May 21.

Wonder if this will be cancelled after one season like the Hellfire show.

Like that, this was the one i was least interested in when it was announced

Would have rather seen Ghost Rider and Howard The Duck

I’m pretty much done with marvel stuff but even I can’t resist the occasional new trailer and I have to say I loved this!!! Will definitely be checking it out.

@TheFireForce - why are you done with Marvel stuff?

@thewanderer - I’ve just grown bored of the marvel formula. It was overplayed for me and I burnt out quick and I don’t find most of their recent films or upcoming projects exciting anymore, for me personally.

I will say the last movies of their films I enjoyed were civil war and infinity war! And I thought bp had good acting, though lacked that fun action of the other 2. However after those idt I’ve enjoyed a marvel movie since gotg but my friends did so I joined them 😅

Looks cool but it's a bit of a waste of the character, IMO.

This looks great! I had no idea it would be stop motion, so that was a pleasant surprise. And Oswalt, unsurprisingly, sounds great.

Maybe they've been faking us out and it won't be Mephisto pulling the strings after all, but rather Chthon (especially since the Darkhold is there too)
