While talking with ComicBook.com, both Tara Butters & Michele Fazekas was asked about whether or not Hydra will make an appearance on the Agent Carter. Michele Fazekas responded, “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has been dealing with Hydra. We didn't want to just be telling the same story that S.H.I.E.L.D. was telling. Not to say that we won't.” Tara Butters then chimed in by saying, "That is a possibility."

Fazekas then said that she thinks "by the end of the eight episodes that the fans will be happily surprised of how we tie into the greater universe.” Butters then buts in and says, "Not only that. Peggy's journey, and what happens with her I think will, be very satisfying.”

Michele Fazekas ended off by telling us to think of the Agent Carter one-shot as the last thing that ever happens in the series, "Think of the last moment of the one-shot as she gets a call from Howard. Oh you're going to run S.H.I.E.L.D. Think of that as the last thing to ever happen in the Agent Carter TV show." She then adds, "We won't touch on her running S.HI.E.L.D. within the context of the show. This is all of her journey leading up to that. That's how that would fit into cannon."

Agent Carter will return tomorrow with its newest episode titled, "The Iron Ceiling" directed by Peter Leto. How do you think Agent Carter is doing so far not only as a series, but as a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Is it better than Agent's of Shield? Sound off below with your thoughts!

Wouldn't consider it better, just a different taste of an ever expanding universe. Wonder what the entire Zodiac thing is what they were building up in the One-Shot if they will never touch upon it if the show focuses mainly on her time as part of the SSR

It took 8 episodes?
7 useless episodes, that can not be used for anything.
Have they not learned their lesson yet from Agents of Shield?
The few minutes of Marvel One Shot - Agent Carter It's much better than the entire current season of Agent Carter.
An amazing thing is that in Marvel One Shot - Agent Carter, Hayley Atwell was much prettier and with better clothes than in Agent Carter.
Someone's not doing their job.

@Heder: "It took 8 episodes? 7 useless episodes, that can not be used for anything."

My sentiments exactly.

@Heder ey? I don't really understand what you are getting at here, so sorry if I mis-represent what you are saying. It seems to me that all she was saying was that when it is over we will be happy with the overall arc in the context of the wider universe. That doesn't mean it takes them 8 episodes to tie in, it just means that the arc will end well...
As for your views on the show, fair enough if you don't like it, that's your opinion. As for me, I'm actually really enjoying her story as a self contained idea, regardless of the wider universe. So to that end it's not '7 useless episodes'. It's 8 episodes of decent TV.
