She's back! Hayley Atwell's Peggy Carter will appear in her regular time period of Tuesdays, 9-10 p.m. early next year. ABC have just released their midseason schedule, detailing the key dates for all their returning shows following the winter break. Season 2 of Agent Carter premieres January 5 with a 2-hour special. After it concludes its 10-episode run, it will be replaced by sister show Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., which returns from its regular midseason hiatus on March 8.

Last year, Agent Carter exceeded the expectations of most fans and critics, with a strong 8-episode arc that gave Atwell a chance to shine on her own in the MCU, backed by very likeable collection of supporting characters. Among those characters set to return are James D'Arcy's Edwin Jarvis, Chad Michael Murray's Agent Jack Thompson and Enver Gjokaj's Daniel Sousa (who is now Peggy's new boss). Marvel’s Agent Carter returns for a second season of adventure and intrigue, starring Hayley Atwell in the titular role of the unstoppable secret agent for the SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve). Dedicated to the fight against new atomic age threats in the wake of World War II, Peggy must now journey from New York City to Los Angeles for her most dangerous assignment yet. Nice, I liked Season 1, I would have loved to see a young Pym on the show, but I don't think the MCU timeline lines up, age wise

Damn, hope you get it sorted out soon bud, but good to see you are still havin fun :) yeah enjoying last year of uni, sorting out jobs, I thought I'd come back and check on you guys, good to see not much has changed. Besides, reading comments about flash, arrow, AOS etc. you know the usual flame war wednesday, gets my mind off a bit from work.

This place should be hopping around JJ release and Star Wars, I can't even imagine the amount of box office that will make, might not beat Titanic, but here's hopin for Avatar.

Lmao, I got my tickets for Star Wars quite early, and even then it was nearly full capacity, it's gonna be a historic opening

Yeah Star Wars is the big one. I've got a feeling it'll hit 2 billion, but it could be close. It'll blow Jurassic World out of the water though. Nice, me too, I got tickets pretty much as they came online. Had to beat the rush - and I've ended up with a midnight screening the exact same day my dissertation is due. Oops ;)

I STILL need to watch this show, I'm waiting for it to premiere on Netflix but I'm sort of just tempted to buy the whole season, it is the one Marvel related thing where I have no clue what happens before I actually see it.

I hope Jaime Alexander can spare enough time to do the traditional Sif Team-up episode of the second half of each AoS season. I know she's busy this year with Blindspot so I don't have a lot of faith. But I would love to see Sif back for another episode. Just one ep would be great.
