As Agent Carter Season 1 came to an end we were treated to a surprise cameo by Actor Toby Jones who plays Dr. Arnim Zola in both Captain America: The First Avenger and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. His appearance Lead many to speculate that we were going to get a glimpse of The Winter Soldier Program in Season 2. Now it seems the plan is to go in a different direction. Speaking with EW, Executive Produce Tara Butters said “At this point, we’re telling a new story,” When asked what new threats can we expect in season 2. She said “People who are fans of the Marvel comic book universe will recognize our villain and there’s more than one villain,” and then added “We’re certainly taking inspiration from the comic book universe, so anybody who knows that will be rewarded.” So what do you think?
