Good show. I like the writing. An improvement over AOS, which admittedly had started out as quite a dissapointment.. If Daredevil is solid than I'd say Marvel had a good year in television.

The Peggy vs. Dottie throwdown is one of my most anticipated TV events this season.

One of the worst TV shows I ever seen.
TV Show based on comics without super heroes and super villains.

Essentially this is the Gotham of the MCU, just here its done right.

Rather than pointlessly attempt to include Steve Rodgers they just had him be 'dead' from the get-go instead of trying to force him into the script.

Rather than having Agent Carter fighting Stever Rodger's rogue gallery we instead have other villains who dont constantly remind us of Steve Rodger's.

So...........Peggy Carter wasn't in the comics? No villains or group of villains from the comics have been on the show? Really? You know, if you're going to talk out of your ass like that, you really should bend over. That way, you won't sound as muffled.

EXACTLY!!!!

Hot damn. I'm going to open a bottle of wine just to toast that statement's simplicity!

@GentlemanlyBatman - The concept of the "Madbomb" was already in the Marvel comic book lore since the 70's, man.

Sums up the show in a nutshell. The whole show was designed just to get to that moment. Next up: pillow fight between Dottie and Peggy, after Peggy knocks out 20 men all 50 lbs heaver than her, without breaking a sweat.

LOL! No wonder the writers thought she had super powers.

Because every comic ever written was about superheroes and supervillians.

@Luminus, you sound like the men of the show.
Clara
Clara - 2/21/2015, 4:11 AM
Btw, I'm a girl and I hav muscle (a LOT of muscle). So probably I could knock out you.
Luminus
Luminus - 2/21/2015, 4:12 AM
@Clara: So that picture makes sense to you? lol. That kiss wasn't an obvious attempt to appease men? Okay. I can't take you seriously, when you say alarmist stuff like that to me.
Luminus
Luminus - 2/21/2015, 4:14 AM
@Clara: Anyone can knock anyone out. That's not the issue. The issue is knocking people out, when you don't have that ability to do so. That man flying in the picture sums up the fighting in the show. If you think you can make me fly like that with your muscles.... lol, I can't even finish. It's too hilarious.

@Clara:

Here's an example of an actual tough woman, taking men out:

Notice, she's using technique and leverage, not just throwing punches and having guys go flying. She's also taking damage, which is what should be happening on Agent Carter.

so much true in just one statement.

loki668 I think you totally missed the point. The show isn't using characters as a SET UP for Captain America. The Black Widow Program sets up(obviously) Black Widow, Leviathan is a connection to Agents of SHIELD. Anthony is a connection to Iron Man. With the exception of Steve Rogers' blood, none of these examples have anything to do with Captain America. If you're going to pointlessly troll about a show you clearly don't care about, at least put some effort into it, otherwise that's just plain lazy.

@JohnCarter: You sound just like her... ignorant. You've ignored everything I've posted in favor of claiming I'm like the men in the show. What a joke. And you did it just to gain favor with her.

Here, I'll demonstrate very easily. I posted a video of a tough woman to backup my complaints about the show. Now, it's your turn. Prove how that makes me sound like the men in the show. This ought to be fun.

Sorry to interrupt.

Any theories on who will turn out to be Hydra?

Blonde dude, Souza?

Peggy?

@JohnCarter: "I couldn't take you seriously either. "

Not an argument against me, just an attack in defense of a woman who doesn't care what you think.

"When posts have more interest in being condescending than convincing, they're worth ignoring."

Then I should ignore you for your original post to me, correct? Pot and kettle.

In any case, that's not an example of me being condescending as that would imply that I thought I was superior. Nothing in that response indicated this. There was talk of the writers thinking she had super powers. If it's just a rumor, then it's just a rumor, but that doesn't make my comment condescending.

"As for Melinda May,"

Ah, finally, an actual attempt at a rebuttal. Yes, it's true that May is a different type of fighter, but she can be taken seriously. I can't take Peggy seriously as a "tough as nails" person, when she never gets hurt and just barrels through men like they're nothing. You might as well have Pewee Herman accomplishing the same feats.

That picture I posted was an exaggeration obviously (it's a freaking drawing), but it does entail the problem I have with the show. Peggy appears super powered to me.

But, you see, you and @Clara could've responded with your final paragraph and we wouldn't have gotten into this pissing fest. Instead, as typical of fans out to attack others for their criticisms of FICTIONAL characters and how they criticize them, you and her tried to compare me to the males of the show. This is CLEARLY contrary to the things that I posted. And, as evidenced by your response, nothing you've said proves that accusation to be true, which is what I challenged you to demonstrate.

Here, look, I'll even help your super powers counterargument:

These 2 videos seem to contradict at least one thing I've said in being that Peggy is knocking every guy out without a problem. So there's that. Nice try, though.

You can drop back down to yellow alert, now. lol.

@kevberg: Let's see who arrives to say you're condescending in defense of me. lol. No consistency with you rabid fans, I swear. Maybe if I revealed to you that I'm actually a female, attitudes will suddenly change? >;)

This has been a good mini series, but if it drags on into a second season it's going to suffer. Do the right thing Marvel and move on to new grounds.

Also James Darcy is awesome as Jarvis, wish we would somehow seem him on the big screen in the MCU. Hopefully Bettany doesn't disappoint as Vision.

@EzioKenway1225: How many people has Agent Carter fought, since then? 1 supposed injury in 7 episodes? I don't see any bruises on her. I don't know. Maybe spy shows just aren't brutal enough for me. Oh, but wait, 24 was pretty brutal. Wasn't Nikita brutal, too? How about Alias? Did she ever get that crap beat out of her and then turn things around? I like that kind of triumph.

I just rewatched Flashpoint. The Reverse Flash beat the crap out the Flash and it was pure eye candy to see the Flash rise to success in spite of that. A true hero.

? Why is everyone attacking Loki668 and calling him a troll when his post was a response to what Heder wrote? I usually don't cape for people on this site but it sounds like he's a fan of the show.

I could be wrong though.
