VIDEO: Hayley Atwell Dishes Out More Information For AGENT CARTER

We've been hearing a lot from Hayley Atwell regarding Agent Carter over the past few days, and now she sat down with ABC and gave some more information in regards to Agent Carter's debut tomorrow at 8/7c! Hit the jump to check it out!

Nothing new is really stated in the video above. Hayley just re-affirms that the first episode is set in 1946 and that she thinks Captain America’s dead. She then says that Peggy goes back to New York and works for the SSR, but everyone else thinks she works for a telephone company. She says while Peggy works at SSR, she’s being held back and this aspect leads into her spy life. She also talks about how Marvel have developed many strong female roles, while saying filming Agent Carter felt like filming a full Marvel movie. Are you excited for tomorrow’s debut? Marvel's Agent Carter, or simply Agent Carter, is an upcoming American television series created for ABC by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, inspired by the films Captain America: The First Avenger and Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and the Marvel One-Shot short film of the same name. It is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), sharing continuity with the films of the franchise.The series features the Marvel Comics character Peggy Carter, with Hayley Atwell reprising her role from the film series, as she must balance doing administrative work and going on secret missions for Howard Stark while trying to navigate life as a single woman in 1940s America. Several characters from Marvel Cinematic Universe films appear throughout the series. It is produced by ABC Studios and Marvel Television, with Tara Butters, Michele Fazekas, and Chris Dingess serving as showrunners.
