Charlie Cox Asked Funko For Some DAREDEVIL Pops To Take To Children's Hospitals; Here's What Happened Next

The Daredevil bobbleheads have been among Funko's most popular, but when Charlie Cox asked the company for some he could take to schools and hospitals, he got much more than he bargained for.

Last year, Charlie Cox was honoured at the American Foundation for the Blind’s 19th Annual Helen Keller Achievement Awards in New York City for his portrayal of Matt Murdock in Daredevil. The actor and character have understandably served as inspiration to many people who have disabilities relating to their sight, and it looks like Cox intends to visit some schools and hospitals to talk to kids about just that (for all we know, he already has and simply hasn't received any publicity for doing so).

Regardless, as you can see below, the actor recently reached out to Funko about getting some Daredevil bobbleheads he could share with those youngsters. No doubt expecting to receive maybe a dozen or so, Cox was clearly surprised to find himself in possession of upwards of 100 of them! Needless to say, that was pretty awesome of the company, and those kids will be getting some cool swag. Season three of Daredevil doesn't have a premiere date, but Cox will shoot The Defenders next.

@Beetleborg - The older kids/teens probably do. And, if they're anything like me, the younger kids too. I watched movies like Friday the 13th and Predator when I was waaay too young for that level of violence.

Nice👍🏿. Still can't believe people collect these things, they remind me of my crappy drawings.

@LEOSTRATOR - I absolutely hate these horrid things. I got one in a nerd block once and gave it to my friend. It's cool as hell they could do this for the kids tho. Gotta respect that

@keeters - Yeah it's always cool when you can put a smile on any kid face. I've seen some people's collection on YouTube, people spend a nice grip of money for the rare ones. If I knew people liked stuff like this I would draw more.

If I had one of those, I would give it to my little cousin and then that would make him want to watch DareDevil.

And then...

Charlie's the best. He deserves to be in a movie. Hopefully him and the rest of the defenders make it into IW
