DAREDEVIl Season 3 Possibly Arriving in October, AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D Season 6 Returning Next July

It seems we may be seeing the Man Without Fear Again sooner than we expected, while everyone's favorite S.H.I.E.L.D agents may have to wait a while longer.

According to multiple reports, press screeners have already been released for the upcoming season of Daredevil. Television embargoes typically lift fairly close to the release date (more typical for television than for films). Grace Randolph also revealed that the embargo lifts in "mid-October",  which likely  means the show launches either around that time or, at latest, early November.

Additionally, it appears as though fans of ABC's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D will have to wait  quite a while for that show to return. While it was previously reported as being moved to the summer (with ABC President Dungey saying that it would be a good fit for the show to counteract its declining live ratings, which matter less for summer programs), we now have a more specific timeframe thanks to one of the shows stars. Show star Elizabeth Henstridge left a replied to a comment on one of her Instagram posts, saying the new season would be coming July 2019. While filming for the show is already underway, it is still unclear if Clark Gregg will be returning after his venture in Captain Marvel next March, though he is at least directing the season 6 premiere.

No way they drop Daredevil only a month after Iron Fist.

@tazmaniak - if IF2 does not deliver this will surely wash out the bad taste.

I would've thought they would drop DD at least in November. Maybe December. But it sounds like they gave a damn good thing with season 3 so maybe the sooner the better.

Very excited

Droping this against Venom would be a very Marvel Netflix thing to do, but since the embargo is until mid October, this may be a Halloween/early-mid November release.

I hope they don't waste the opportunity they have with DDs3. Great cast, great platform. They have to nail the execution like they did in s1 (and everything not Hand related in s2) and i'll be happy. Very excited to see my man Charlie Cox back as Matt Murdock.

Would really like to see DD go up against the big bads a few times, like Cage did with Bushmaster. 4 or 5 rounds, with the same fighting styles of season 1… Can’t wait.

@Prime8 - If Bullseye is indeed the villain, than I'm sure we'll get to see those kinds of fights.

Just please don't make everyone and their mother connected to the Hand again. after doing a re-watch of all the Marvel Netflix shows, the Hand stuff in IF S01 and DD S02 is so forgettable. Let's move on from the Hand, shall we?

@L0RDbuckethead - I think that was their attempt at creating a shared Netflix universe. Now that they no longer have plans for another Defender series it seems like they'll lighten it up off the Hand stuff.

Luke Cage didn't have it, but I wonder if Iron Fist and/or Daredevil will be affected by the "Snappening" caused by Thanos at the end of their last episodes?

Since it's all technically MCU, I wish they'd at least name-drop Daredevil or Punisher in Agents of SHIELD. Given the shake-up, maybe Director Mack is reviewing potential team members with Quake and it goes something like this:

DAISY: How about that daredevil guy in New York?
MACK: Nah, I hear he flies solo.
DAISY: The Punisher?
MACK: Are you kidding me? That guy's a loose cannon.
