Deadline reports that Desmond Chiam (Now Apocalypse) and Miki Ishikawa (The Terror: Infamy) have joined the cast of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier on Disney+.

They now join a cast which includes Anthony Mackie (The Falcon), Sebastian Stan (Bucky), Daniel Bruhl (Baron Zemo), Wyatt Russell (U.S. Agent) and Emily VanCamp (Sharon Carter). Unfortunately, details on Chiam and Ishikawa's roles haven't been revealed, so they could be playing big name characters from the comics or entirely new creations for the Disney+ series.

As a result, it appears as if we'll have to wait until next August to find out, but Marvel is bound to reveal more before then as we have trailers, stills, magazine features and more to look forward to.

Little is known about The Falcon and The Winter Soldier at this point but it's thought that it will delve into Sam Wilson's transformation into Captain America, all while dealing with Baron Zemo's return.

@soberchimera - why, because they are asian?

Every asian actor, actress has to be a superhero?

Even though The Terror S2 was mediocre, Ishikawa was pretty good in it.

@HeavyMetal4Life - I liked it way more than the first. I barely finished the first, just too boring of a story. I only liked Crozier. Couldn't stand anyone else.

@BountyCipher - I always say, sometimes you really try with a show, book, movie etc and it just doesn't work; despite it being considered to be really good.

I was just really bored with the first season. The first few episodes had me a bit but then watching it became a chore. One of those things. Infamy grabbed me. Liked the setting, the characters. I was moved by the story.

@BountyCipher - I mean it went places, but it didn't do so successfully and overall the list of accomplishments was few and far between.

@BountyCipher - I'm not sure. Season 2 performed pretty terribly with massive drops from season 1 viewership. Season 3 hasn't been greenlit yet, which is not really a good sign. If a season 3 does occur, they should return to the idea behind season 1: taking a historical event, a novel about this event, and adapting it to the screen.

@BountyCipher - exactly. It needs to be, shall I say it, a bit more realistic. Better, scarier monster. More gripping and thrilling. Higher stakes. Better written characters and storyline (and tighter story too, which is why I think following a book would be better, an already established story). Setting is also very important as you said. History should be an important supporting component of the season, but it shouldn't take precedent (which I felt happened for many of the episodes in s2, too much of a focus on the concentration camps and how they were run). Etc etc etc...

@BlackBeltJones - lol what!?!?! First season was basically a masterpiece. Infamy was a chore to get through and a major disappointment.
