In this Wednesday's episode of Hawkeye, Clint Barton unleashed a whole host of trick arrows, including one that he'd clearly been given by Hank Pym and/or Scott Lang. That ended up making another of his arrows giant-sized, putting an end to Echo and the Tracksuit Mafia's pursuit.

Talking to Marvel.com, Jeremy Renner expressed his excitement to include that fun Ant-Man reference in the show. Clint and Scott have shared a few memorable moments in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the actor was only too happy to revisist that dynamic through this trick arrow.

"If you're going to have a special tip arrow, it should be a Pym arrow," Renner says, "Because [of Hawkeye’s] relationship with Ant-Man. That was such a cool, cool thing. Now we're talking; now we're feeling more Avenger-like."

"You don't really know what’s happening all the time when you're filming it. When you do see it, like maybe a preview, you think like, wait, what? That's going to be in the visual effects? And so yeah, that was something I got very, very, very excited about and can't wait for that to land."

Director Rhys Thomas has talked about his hopes to include Paul Rudd's Ant-Man in Hawkeye, but with a cameo seemingly off the table, it seems we'll have to be content with a bunch of Easter Eggs instead.

It's always fun to see the wider MCU referenced in these solo adventures, and while those trick arrows have been a long time coming, it'll be hard to top a Pym arrow moving forward. The series almost certainly has a few more surprises up its sleeve quiver, of course, so we'll see where things go next.

Hawkeye is now streaming on Disney+.

@solskulldeath - Last time I checked; "Yes."

Congratulations. Unless you have blocked some people who were before you, then you wouldn't know if you were first.

Food for thought. Worthless food, I admit, but still, food (which is good).

I really hope we get to see Hawkeye and Ant-Man more on screen in the future. Maybe in a West Coast Avengers show would be cool.

Also, I wonder how many ''bro's'' you get when calling the Trust a Bro phone number.

I could totally see a Clint/Scott bromance being a thing going forward. Definitely two of the most down to earth heroes in the MCU and even though we haven't seen them interact that much in the movies, I feel like Renner and Rudd would have great chemistry and bounce off each other quite nicely.

So yeah, nice little (well, "big" actually, considering how that sequence plays out) reference there, and I hope we get to see more of Hawkeye and Ant-Man in the future.

Thought the entire sequence was really fun and really well shot. Probably the best small screen action scene we’ve seen on Disney+ behind Falcon’s helicopter chase.

It was cool to see, but takes away from Hank being very protective about his Pym particles being given out.

@Se4M4NSt4ine - I see your point considering how Hank has acted historically, but who knows what post-Blip Hank is like. Consider:

1. He got his wife back (albeit after like 20 or so years later)
2. SHIELD (whom he blamed for his wife's disappearance) is long gone
3. The Avengers saved half of the universe, including him, Janet, and Hope
4. Tony Stark sacrificed himself to save half the universe
5. With Tony gone Hank is now pretty much the main tech genius left (at least until Reed comes along)

So Hank may have changed his attitude and may be more open to sharing his tech or at least equipping the Avengers to some degree. I'm not saying that he's down on Fisherman's Wharf handing out gift bags of Pym Particles and making balloon animals for the kids, but he might have changed his attitude somewhat. Then again he might still be the obsessive, self-righteous cranky-pants that he's been so far. But this is one of the things that I'm looking forward to seeing in the next Ant-Man movie.
