INHUMANS Funko Pops Reveal That Medusa Will Be Donning Her Familiar Costume

There's been a lot of frustration from fans in regards to the fact the characters in Inhumans don't have their costumes from the comic books but some new Funko Pop figures may point to them suiting up!

While there was a lot of disappointment surrounding the fact the first official image from Inhumans didn't feature the characters in anything even remotely resembling their costumes from the comic books, it now looks like we may have jumped the gun! Possibly. Funko has today unveiled some Funko Pop figures based on characters from the series, and as you can see, Medusa is decked out in costume.

It's possible that this is just a Hot Topic exclusive featuring her comic book counterpart's appearance but that's not specified by the site and the packaging is the same as the Maximus and Lockjaw figures which the site says are "from the upcoming television series Inhumans, premiering this fall on ABC." Showrunner Scott Buck was widely criticised for not putting Iron Fist in his costume so perhaps he's learned his lesson for Inhumans and the heroes will suit up after arriving on Earth for the first time.

We'll just have to wait and see but it's interesting that Maximus has been highlighted here rather than Black Bolt. Perhaps Marvel is deliberately keeping his appearance from the show under wraps!

We'll just have to wait and see but feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section below.

I think these are for the comic versions, not the TV show ones.

@HAILHYDRA - also Lockjaw has the protruding antenna whereas we know the tv version doesn't. This is some nice click bait though.

@SmokingMan - I think they are. The comics ones have the "MARVEL" in the title film/tv versions have their logo as the Title (eg Age of Ultron).

I do however expect that we will wear her comic costume. I believe we have only ever seen them in their "causal everyday clothes" from the trailer. When it comes to battle they will wear the comic costumes; I don't feel it is too practical for Medusa to fight in a dress... though I am a sucker for flowing fabric.

This show is going to be trash. Who the hell would watch this in IMAX?
