We caught a glimpse of Colleen Wing in action in the latest trailer for Iron Fist, but this first clip from the Marvel and Netflix series shows her kicking ass and taking names inside a steel cage! This footage was also shown during last year's New York Comic-Con, so chances are that the online streaming service has decided against showing anything beyond that to keep the story as secret as possible.

The marketing campaign for Iron Fist really seems to be kicking off in a big way now, so more clips, stills, and posters are no doubt right around the corner ahead of the show's premiere next month.

Colleen being portrayed as a force to be reckoned with should make fans of the comic books very happy, and it looks like she'll be every bit as formidable as Danny Rand. The two look set to embark on a romantic relationship too, and with the character also set to return in The Defenders, it looks like we can expect to see her play a big role in this corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe moving forward.

Returning to New York City after being missing for years, Daniel Rand fights against the criminal element corrupting New York City with his incredible kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist.

A little underwhelming, to be honest. One of the youtube comments say the "choreography looked super slow and fake. weird". I feel the same. I hope the rest of the fight scenes are much better than this.

@Killuminatic - The music brought back Blade vibes, which I [frick]ing loved. Hoping it's incorporated into some more of the fight scenes.

@Gam4hh - Alright, on second viewing, it started off nicely. But then as she was pinned down, obviously the momentum dropped. However, I think the guy could've easily taken her out, or even put up more of a fight. Wished it lasted a bit longer.

@Killuminatic - as someone who's been to a few cage matches, real talk I'm a combat enthusiast, this clip hits is pretty well. The fights are slow and decisive. It's alot of waiting on the other person to make a move, taking your time and making the hits count.

It's a lot like boxing. It's all decisiveness.

@ComicsBornAndBred - Hope I didn't sound like I was overly critiquing it, haha.

Since I was already having second thoughts on it, I actually needed somewhat of an expert and/or enthusiast's opinion on this because I'm so used to seeing a lot more high octane, fast paced fight scenes.

I remember you mentioning this before on another thread, about you being a combat enthusiast and whatnot. So, for you to be saying it was well depicted, put me at more of an ease. And I actually do prefer the more realistic sort of fight scene anyway. I can see it now, how well it's been depicted. Regardless, It's still better than most fight scenes out there.

@Killuminatic - no not at all man. You didn't. No worries.

I'm actually like these slower kind of scenes, as someone who boxes and loves all forms of fighting. Its real.

Na man, I didn't think you were coming on too harsh.
