The fourth episode of Loki wrapped up with Tom Hiddleston's God of Mischief being pruned by Judge Renslayer in what was quite easily one of the show's most shocking moments to date.

However, a post-credits scene caught up with Loki in a mysterious location - later revealed as "The Void" - where he came face-to-face with three Variants: Kid Loki, Classic Loki, Alligator Loki, and DeObia Oparei's Boastful Loki. The sight of the four Lokis together already feels like one of those iconic MCU moments, and it kept us all talking until "Journey Into Mystery" arrived on Disney+ a week later.

During a recent chat with DeObia, we asked the actor what that scene was like to shoot, especially with what must have been a huge amount of secrecy on set.

"There really was [a lot of secrecy], but it was so exciting. The set was amazing. It was so atmospheric and working with Richard [E. Grant] and Jack [Veal]. Jack is wonderful, as is Richard. We just jelled. The three of us, or the four of us with Tom [Hiddleston], we just jelled from the first day," the actor explained. "It was weird because the read-through was on Zoom as we were all in hotels quarantined, but when we first got on set...you know when you meet people and straight away you can just completely be yourself? That was [great]."

"Richard can be a bit grumpy, but kind of very charming with it. Tom is incredibly energetic and always got something to say. And then there’s Jack, this amazing young actor who just sucks everything in and then, when it’s ‘Action!’, ‘Bang,’ he’s like a 90-year old in this young body because he’s such a good actor," DeObia continued. "The four of us were just a really good team. That day when we shot that was really good fun. Off takes, we were just bitching or gossiping. I remember Tom was doing a soliloquy from Henry V or something and Richard was rolling his eyes [Laughs]."

Given the legendary status of Richard E. Grant, we asked what it was like to see his co-star decked out in that comic accurate costume. "Didn't he make it work, though? Off camera, he made it work just the way he stood there like, ‘Oh, darling.’ He’s just so funny and really made it work."

It'd be hilarious if he said he thought it was boring and didn't get what the big deal was.

@PantherKing - dude, it was a joke about how this isn't news worthy. Nothing he said isn't what you'd expect him not to say in this situation.
