The latest installment of Loki completely turned the series on its head, leaving the God of Mischief (Tom Hiddleston) at large, a mysterious new villain (Sophia Di Martino) wreaking unprecedented havoc on the timeline, and the Time Variance Authority scrambling after a disastrous failure.

When we sat down with star Wunmi Mosaku (Batman v Superman; Fantastic Beasts) after having watched the first two installments, we were able to get her thoughts on that pivotal scene which finds her character Hunter B-15 in an enchanting predicament. We also spoke about what is driving her character's disdain for Loki and what could be coming next.

Check out the full video interview below (apologies for the technical difficulties) or keep scrolling for the full transcript!

ROHAN: During the press conference, you mentioned how you've known both Tom Hiddleston (Avengers: Endgame; Thor: Ragnarok) and Gugu Mbatha-Raw (The Morning Show; Belle) since drama school. What was it like coming to set your first day and being able to work opposite Tom?

WUNMI: "It was great, very easy because there’s a short-hand already because we know and trust each other and you can be a little more vulnerable with each other and say ‘I’m scared," when I was scared or nervous about certain scenes, nervous about stunts, and I really felt like I had a friend who I could call on to help me. That was really, really great."

ROHAN: While you guys are good off-screen, your character Hunter B-15 isn't exactly the biggest Loki fan. Is that something that could change moving forward or will it remain fairly contentious?

WUNMI: "I mean you really have to just watch the show to see because I mean yeah, every character’s relationships develop, but I can’t tell you which way they develop or if they come full circle. Can’t tell you all the secrets! *laughs*"

ROHAN: No worries. Outside of Tom, you also get to share a lot of screen time with Owen Wilson, who's an absolute comedic legend. What was it like working with him and just being able to learn from him as a performer?

WUNMI: "He’s so easy, he’s so easy in front of the camera. He’s just got this real natural quality to everything that he does and he’s also not afraid to improvise and play around and make it better. So, yeah, again a real joy to work with. He and I work a lot together in the show because we’re the TVA and I really just had a ball. I had a ball getting to know him, I had a ball watching him work and yeah, I felt like I learned a lot."

ROHAN: I believe you mentioned in another interview how highly Hunter B-15 regards the timekeepers, but both Loki - and that new character we meet at the end of episode two - seem to see them much differently. Could we see her perspective begin to change in the next episode?

WUNMI: "Well, the strong belief starts in the fact that this is her world. This is all she’s ever known and they’re in control of the flow of time in the world that everyone else has seen and experiences, so there’s nothing more affirming that being apart of the thing and that being your whole experience.

And that’s why she is fully dedicated to the Time Variance Authority because that is literally the only world she knows and is a part of."

ROHAN: We, as Marvel fans, have spent the last decade or so enjoying all of the Avengers and their exploits, but the TVA doesn't seem to be all that impressed with their adventures. Save for the higher-ups like Renslayer and Mobius, many of the TVA employees don't even seem to know who they are. What is your character's take on Earth's Mightiest Heroes?

WUNMI: "As long as everything is going according to the sacred timeline, then B-15 is good. The Avengers can do whatever they want to do as long as they don’t disrupt the correct flow of time.

So, yeah, that’s how she really feels about - as long as she doesn’t have to meet you, then you’re not a problem. If I meet you, then you’re a problem or you’ve done something wrong and disrupted the timeline."

ROHAN: Speaking of disrupting the timeline, the end of episode two turns everything on its head with the introduction of a mysterious new character played by Sophia Di Martino (Yesterday; Flowers), who ends up enchanting your character for a spell, giving you an opportunity to play a different character for a big scene.

What was your approach to that scene? Did you try to emulate what Sophia had done?

WUNMI: "Exactly, I tried to be as much like that person as I had seen done and watched and tried to be as far away from Hunter B-15 as I could. It’s a little bit of an acting exercise, how much of that person’s essence and aura can you emulate and emanate. "

ROHAN: You've worked on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them as well as a crazy episode of Black Mirror, so this isn't your first time working with heavy sci-fi/fantasy material. Then again, this is Marvel Studios, which is on a whole different level in comparison.

What's your experience been like joining the Marvel Studios family?

WUNMI: "I mean I feel like joining Marvel sounds very intimidating because it’s Marvel and they have such a huge fanbase and they make great films and I really wanted to be apart of the MCU from the moment I saw Black Panther and so, it was kind of scary, but then, Marvel, MCU, off-camera, everyone is so lovely and it’s so normal, and it doesn’t feel intimidating. It feels like a family, friendly and easy, so yeah, I honestly was scared, but as soon as I walked in, I knew I didn’t have anything to be scared of. Not from those guys anyway. *laughs*

Also, it’s a different role, no one’s ever played B-15 because B-15 is a new character so there’s a little less pressure as well because there’s no expectation."

Why do they make the British actors all put on American accents? They’re otherworldly beings, they can be British. Renslayer sounds a bit more natural, I actually prefer Wunmi’s natural accent.

Kinda wish they gave the hunters names too (there must be a dozen characters that from the comics that could be used that otherwise wouldn't right?), because right now they somehow just don't feel important. Yet they still play a fairly big role.
