"Today was a fun powers tv day. sony and FX flew up our showrunner and one of our writers to work with me and mike on the stories for the next episodes. thank you for that sony and FX. i could stay home with family and work on powers tv. big breakthroughs in the season story should create some excellent conversations and work for all involved. more tomorrow."
So, obviously, the show is not dead and FX is still open to the possibility. I, personally, haven't read Powers, but I DO own it, and it does look very good.
